One of the most enjoyable and top quality meals we have had in a long time anywhere. Mike and Randi and their staff are wizards in the kitchen. The menu is innovative, clever and the plates are superb!
Candace, Christopher and Ariel gave impeccable service, and whatever Conor suggests as a wine pairing is the way to go.

Went to a 5:45 pm dinner reservation yesterday before the theatre - we informed the server we were going to the theatre and needed to be out by 7:30 pm. Great location and great service and great food BUT we waited an hour between the appetizer and the main. No one came over to check on us or told us the entrees were coming or offered us a complimentary glass of wine or more bread. Nothing.
We finally flagged down one of the servers to check. Entree finally came with no apology for the delay at 7:15. We quickly ate it as we had also ordered dessert as part of the 3 prix fixe menu. We made it to the theatre but it was tight.
If the kitchen is not able to keep up with the food then the restaurant should not allow so many reservations. We expected better and will think twice about returning which is a shame as the food was excellent but the experience was not.

The food, the service, the ambience in this space… Everything was exceptional. I really enjoyed the roasted beets – – so tasty, light and refreshing! And the chicken à la king was cooked to perfection. The death by chocolate dessert was also quite delicious! Highly recommended.

I was excited to try The Prune having walked by many times and read all the great reviews. Sadly, our experience was underwhelming. We (4 of us) had a very friendly server, but she was obviously new and was quite nervous/hesitant. Our dishes - shrimp and lobster roll, pan-seared scallops, and Caesar salad with chicken - were tasty but not satisfying. Dessert was a coconut tart that had little flavour. For the price, I just cannot recommend The Prune, at least not for lunch.
This is probably one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Stratford. Each dish is a masterpiece. The food presentation is amazing, the taste is gently bursting to please your taste buds. The service is personal, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection. The atmosphere is relexed-fancy and again, the food is to die for.

I don't know where to begin. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is friendlt and professional and the food is divine. I had the tofu and is was as good as our server, Maretta, described. My husband had the chicken and he loved it. Marietta made excellent suggestions, including a white port for dessert. It was a perfect ending to a delightful evening.
