I was in Sudbury for a hockey road trip from Brampton with a group of regulars from my local pub . After 3 days of basically bar food , I craved some "real" food . I was not disappointed, my steak was tender and flavourful The fact that I finished cooking it myself to my doneness level on a searing hot lava stone was an experience in itself . The sides were generous and well prepared. My only complaint was the lack of blue cheese on the wedge salad . They also made a great Manhattan ! My last night in Sudbury was made all the better for discovering Lot 88 Steakhouse. If I find myself back in Sudbury ,I would very likely dine there again

I have enjoyed every meal I have eaten here. I usually have lunch, but I have had dinner as well. My steak has been perfectly cooked every time, and my companion enjoyed the different meals they chose as well. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is unhurried and comfortable. Prices are in line with similar establishments. The lunch prices are exceptionally good.

Excellent restaurant, using a stone to cook the steak was fun and a great way to get it exactly as you want it. Added advantage, every bite is hot no matter how long you take to eat!

The top sirloin on stone was amazing. I don't like rare meat, but it was so soft and not bloody at all. Mussels were also fantastic.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and both kids loved their food (one had steak med-rare and the other did the pasta).
