The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Sudbury

The Keg is so beautiful and so well-designed and the staff are just fabulous. The food is to die for and the vibe in the rooms is cozy and quiet and you feels very intimate and not worried about what other people are saying They' have a way of making people feel comfortable and you really have no eye contacts because of the lighting..it's just a wonderful place to sit and eat a wonderful food with family and friends...

It was just a delightful evening. Booking with Open Table was easy and they were expecting us. The entire staff was super nice from the girls at the front desk to girl who sat us at the table to our amazing girl who waited on us and happened to be from our city as we travelled to Sudbury for a few day get away. She was so kind and amazing. All the staff smiled at us, greeted us even if they were not waiting on us. The food was amazing, I had the prime rib and it just melted in my mouth. Had a signature drink that was very yummy.

Our server was excellent. Took very good care of us without constant interruptions. Food was excellent. I will keep coming to the Keg.

Food was very flavorful with a beautiful presentation. Service was great and price was well worth it. We found it a little loud but probably because it was dinner time on a Friday night.

Have never been disappointed with a meal at The Keg Sudbury ever! Great food and great service! Everything comes out promptly and cooked to perfection!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5 stars) We've been regulars at The Keg for years and usually know what to expect, which is why last night was a bit of a letdown. Upon arrival, the greeter seemed annoyed — very young and unprofessional. Not the warmest welcome, but we brushed it off. Our server, Grant Booth, was the highlight of the night. Over-the-top friendly, polite, and attentive — truly one of the best parts of the experience. Drinks were excellent as always, and you can never go wrong finishing with the Billy Miner Pie (still the best dessert around). Unfortunately, the food didn't measure up this time: •Scallops were just okay. •Braised short rib feature came out grey, tough, and not at all what we've had in the past. •Encrusted sirloin feature was disappointing — no crust, no flavor layering. What arrived was basically a plain filet with a lump of unmelted butter on top, far from the description. We'll definitely still come back because The Keg is usually reliable for us, but the kitchen really needs to step it up — this meal was subpar compared to the standard we've come to expect.

The Keg is constantly excellent. The prime rig is really good and our server was welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend the Keg.

Top notch food and service. Started with delicious dirty, gin martinis. The blue cheese olives makes them extra delicious! The shrimp cocktail and mushrooms Neptune were excellent and the Lobster tails were fabulous! The food and service just never disappoints!

Once again the service, atmosphere, food, drinks and dining experience was wonderful. We celebrated our 1 month anniversary to which we had our wedding at the Keg Aug 27/25. Staff remembered us, the Managers Angel and Matthew came over to our table and said hello and congrats. Totally recommend The Keg (Sudbury). The wine cellar is a perfect place for an intimate venue for wedding. By far a perfect culinary experience. Glynn & Lynn Carrington.

I booked with OpenTable and from there the rest of our evening was exceptional. Our server, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions we had. It was very busy but the service was quick. The meal was hot and delicious. We had a 7 pm reservation and our meal was complete by 830 pm. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and professional. No matter what city we are in The Keg is always our top choice!

This was my second time here. The service and food here is just amazing cooked to perfection!! Well worth it and by far my favorite restaurant 😋❤️

Aug 27/25 - we had our wedding ceremony in the Wine Cellar which holds comfortably 26 people. The atmosphere was elegant and tasteful. We dealt with Angel (manager) who was a real angel assisting us with every detail of our wedding. The menu we chose had many of The Keg’s options and our guests complimented how great the food was from appetizers, entrees and desserts. The wine menu is phenomenal as well bar drinks. The Keg’s staff were phenomenal, with our guests being served all at same time. Angel had enough staff on to ensure that everyone dined at same time.
Our officiant commented how professional Angel and her team were from the beginning prior to the ceremony. We totally recommend The Keg for a small intimate wedding the Wine Cellar was perfect.
Staff A+, food A+, atmosphere A+, parking A+ and accessibility A+ (we had a guest in a wheelchair) and were accommodated perfectly.

We celebrated our anniversary here, it was also our first time coming to this location, the service was top notch and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend The Keg in Sudbury!
