Verdicchio used to be a “go to” place for us for a fine dining night. We still enjoy the food but the atmosphere inside is more open, loud and modern than it used to be. I booked a reservation months in advance for our 20th anniversary in the small Private wine cellar room and only when we arrived were told that it wasn’t available and given a free dessert instead. That room was the ambience we wanted and where we had our 10th anniversary dinner. Service wise, I should absolutely have received a phone call that the room was not available rather than ensuring my business still went to them by telling me when I arrived. The main dining area was loud and we could hear every word of the four people sitting behind us. Just not what we wanted for a special night and milestone.

True Italian cuisine. Very well done in an every aspect. Food was great (we had 3 appetizers and the salmon and veal for mains). Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We felt really welcome by everyone. Great experience, will be back.

If I could give it more than five stars I would. Verdicchio is an amazing place for Italian food. It was so good, we actually went back the next day, and it somehow was even better. If you are looking for an excellent dining experience in Sudbury, do not hesitate to come here (more than once!). The food was amazing, the service impeccable. There is nothing bad I can say about this restaurant and will be returning at my first opportunity.

A wonderful little restaurant with pleasant food. I gave it a 3 for atmosphere, as the establishment is small and should have more room for walk in guests. Well worth the visit, just book ahead of time.

Excellent Italian restaurant!
The Australian lamb chops were delicious 🤤
The dessert was really good too.
Only negative i found was when they brought out the free bread in the beginning (which i loved), because they serve an olive oil+balsamic vinegar dressing, but it was not enough. I'm sure i could have asked for more, but just would have been easier if the bottles were at the table.

Went there with my husband to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. The environment and mood were great. We left the restaurant so happy and satisfied. The Waiter who took care of us was very knowledgeable and very good at his job. I would definitely go back. The Ravioli was to die for. I tried stuff I've never had before and loved every bite.

We have been to Verdicchios in the past and had excellent service. We went last weekend and seemed as tho the waiter was distracted. All in all, 8 out of 10.
