A lady we met hiking in Sault Ste Marie told us to eat here. Luckily her father, Bougy? knew the owner so she told us to tell Mark to treat us well. We arrived at opening but was told we needed reservations...until we mentioned our contact...but Mark said we had to be done by 7. Our young dark haired server was VERY pleasant and efficient and accurate. Our veggie meal was perfect and the coffee and the dessert AND the relaxing story songs. THANKS!!!

Came for Stan Strato's celebration of life(a very beloved Uncle)... They did an amazing job and the venue was beautiful.

From the overall planning to the small details of our wedding day, Verdicchio (Mark, Lara, and team) have made our dream wedding vision come to life. Our day was better than perfect, with a smooth execution, delicious drinks, and spectacular food, we could not have asked for a better day. Probably Sudbury’s best Italian restaurant but also the most expensive. Excellent staff and service. High quality ingredients with the best tasting desserts. Their pasta is cooked authentically but can seem too firm for me. The salad dishes are a bit disappointing despite the micro-greens as the combinations don’t always work well together and some salads seem too soaked. Also disappointing is the fish dishes—nothing except for farmed raised trouts. How about artic char or wild salmon? Also not much for vegan choices.

I have eaten in a number of great restaurants around the world. I had a carpaccio and an osso bucco at Verdicchio this evening. I have to say that it was one of the finest meals that I have ever had. Very impressive. Well done.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Food was delicious however, I found my dinner to be on the cold side. In their defense I was part of a large ish group. I have been here multiple time and this was the only time I found my food to be cold. Server was very good in making sure our groups needs were met.

My boyfriend and I went out to Verdicchio for supper for the first time Saturday night at 6:30pm , we didn’t know reservations were required and they were still so accommodating and charismatic to make our first experience there a great one. The service was great and we really loved each plate! The calamari and salmon were great appetizers and the Truffle Ravioli was AMAZING! As our mains we got the clam shrimp pasta and the veal. Everything was great, even the house wine was delicious and I truly don’t even like wine! The prices are definitely $$$, but it is a luxury restaurant. Enjoying a large glass of red wine was a first for me thank you to the Verdicchio staff for making our experience a great one! The bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar was so great we are still craving it the next day! I

Had an amazing date night with my wife at this very intimate very traditional restaurant! The appetizers were very flavourful and the risotto was spectacular! The atmosphere was amazing! It was cozy and romantic and overall we had a great time and look forward to returning!

Verdicchio's has a vibe that is unmatched. Their atmosphere is elegant and sexy - perfect for date night. Their menu offers many Italian dishes and the food never disappoints! Highly recommend!
