Hard to believe that subway was the better option.
I was told everything is made fresh, in house.
Nope, A stale/soggy club & a can of iced tea was almost $13.
Hopefully the new owners can breathe some life back into this place but for the time being, i won’t be returning.
Hit and miss with their customer service. Enough said.
Lovely little Cafe. When there for late lunch with my son. I ordered BBQ chicken really nice flavor. My son got the 4 cheese grill cheese and he loved it. End off with couple packs of desserts for the ride home. 100% go to again spot.
Very disappointed, coffee was old and tasted burnt. Bacon was cold and home fries burnt. Only 1 slice of toast (no choice of bread) with breakfast and jam was put directly on the plate. Breakfast Burrito, eggs were undercooked and whole thing was wet and dripping. Silverware was dirty, asked for vinegar to clean the Silverware myself.
Great service, food, and environment.
Absolutely the best food. I love this place. Great Staff. The restaurant is rustic, very clean. It's heavenly aromas will keep you going back.
Vegetarian options: Anyone could eat here. There is something for everyone.
Parking: Big parking lot free of charge.
I am quite concerned that they had a sign at the cash that requested people bring in their Ham bones from the holidays so they could make soup to sell. Were the bones stored properly or were they left out for a day or two? Did the people donating them have health issues? Makes me wonder about the rest of there "safe" food practices.
Stopped for lunch and had Dave’s Santa Fe Bowl with rice. Tasted great and very healthy! The desserts look yummy and the Cherry Pie is piled high with cherries! Was able to go home with a jar of Bacon Marmalade and Pickled Grapes which are both my favourites! Love the artistic flair throughout and you can go home with original art as well! Definitely coming back for more!
Delightful. Great food selection and features local artists' crafts and locally produced food products. Well done and shall be back. ?Jaxon super friendly ?Cafe also very eco conscious/friendly. Well done.

Cute cafe. Love the art all around the cafe. Delicious Santa fe bowl with Quinoa✅ Hubby enjoyed his Montreal smoked meat sandwich, but will ask for regular mustard to be put in next time. We also got a 6 pieces pkg of 3 different sweets. Tried a small piece there , very good with our coffee. Friendly staff and not a long wait to get our food. Lovely place to stop in for a bite to eat if on a motorbike drive in the area. We will sure be back again!?
It was a miss today. The beef tacos were extremely greasy almost as uf they forgot to drain them before adding to the tacos. The chicken sandwich had dry chicken and the bun was not fresh. Otherwise the staff was friendly and courteous
Fantastic dinner! Super friendly staff! Seriously want to return to try all menu items. A little gem in the community. Highly recommend!
Service was not very friendly. Waitress seemed irritated that my wife asked to have the table outside cleaned. Also ensure you ask what the soup of the day is when ordering. My bad. I was delivered a very small paper bowl of some sort of "Cool Kid" green cold soup. I asked the young lady why it was ice cold and she said that it was suppose to be. Im sure she saw my displeasure but offered no exchange. Not worth the 32 bucks we spent for two measly sandwich's. Cant understand why Sydneham has no more restaurants. Shame this is the only option.
Not always easy to find a toddler-friendly restaurant but the Sydenham Country Cafe is one. Of course, the service was great as was the food. But the best part was the safe patio with a runway for our 2-year-old.
