I'm a little picky, but I wished they would better describe the dipping sauces and have more feminine glassware. It would benefit the experience for sure. That is my only suggestion.”

The only comparison I have is from the grocery store and the gnocchi I had the pleasure of savouring today was a heavenly texture and flavour! I won’t ever buy grocery store gnocchi again. I had a cardamom chai tea, and Rosa served it with hot frothed milk which made the tea taste even better. I was full, but decided to try dessert. I had the lemon (?) and it was divine! I wish I lived nearby so I could eat here regularly. The service was friendly and fast.”

“Thursday, July 10. I walked in and ordered an XL one topping pizza 🍕. My kids are picky. They didn’t like pepperoni so I asked for Parmesan cheese instead. They are so generous with cheese. The pizza was so delicious. Everyone in the family really enjoyed it! Thank you!”

“Cruising back from Lake Huron we needed a brunch spot.
There were a bunch of cars in front of Mel’s 4&9 Diner just outside Walkerton so we stepped in.
It is a pretty cool old time diner with just enough room for a kitchen and a few tables.
We were seated at the window, which was nice and everyone dining there was very friendly.
Almost like we were back in the 1950’s when people would actually speak to each other.
The menu has lots of breakfast and lunch options.
My son had the breakfast wrap, I had a toasted Western, my wife had an omelette and my daughter in law had the fish sandwich.
All very good.
The waiter was a very nice young g woman with a big smile, the prices were reasonable and easy to park.
Hope to return one day!”

“Last night I stopped in for pizza while visiting family. I’m originally from Waterloo, and I just have to say the staff were absolutely wonderful. The two young women working were welcoming, attentive, and really made the experience enjoyable. On top of that, the pizza itself was excellent!

That said, I was very surprised and disappointed when I went to tip. I looked for the option on the payment machine, but when I asked, the staff explained that tips aren’t available through the terminal. In today’s world, very few people carry cash, which means those employees are likely missing out on well-deserved gratuities simply because of a system limitation.

As someone who owns a restaurant in Waterloo, I can say firsthand that tips are not just extra. They’re a vital part of supporting and motivating staff, especially younger workers. For many, it’s spending money that rewards their hard work and provides encouragement to deliver great service. Without an accessible option to tip digitally, you’re not only reducing the earning potential of your team, but also creating a less satisfying guest experience for customers who want to show their appreciation.

Adding a tipping feature on the payment machine would be a small change with a huge impact. It ensures staff are fairly rewarded, it encourages excellent service, and it shows that the business values both its employees and its customers’ experience. With such fantastic staff already in place, it seems only right that they should have the opportunity to benefit fully from the service they provide.”

“I travel all over the province for work and see many tim hortons drive thru very few are as friendly as the Wingham location it always has the nicest staff and often remembers orders of locals and a kind greeting to start your day”

“When I asked employee sandwich maker slash cash attendant to clean area where subs being prepared and wash his hands as well as clean the knife to cut subs. He was annoyed. All he did with knife was wipe with paper towels. I asked him to rinse in the sink with water to properly clean. He did not want to. I left . Unsafe food handling practices at this location.was back into store and employee does not work their anymore. We talked about issue and they were happy to wash knife and hands . Thank you for safe food handling”

“We ordered here for the first time yesterday. The chicken schwarma pizza was delicious. Actually all 3 pizzas were delicious. The wings, I thought it was odd to pay $1extra to get sauce on the wings, instead of on the side never heard of that before. We ordered 2 lbs of wings and it was weird that the website did not allow you to get 2 difference sauces on them...even when i asked in the comments. The wings didn't really need a sauce they were very good but it would be nice if you could get 1 lb. Of HG and 1 lb. Bbq. However the website does allow you to pick 4 different options for pop, just not wings? Unless I missed something. I have to say the garlic bread with cheese was the best I've ever had! Absolutely amazing! I know this will not be our last time ordering from them. If you're on the fence about ordering from here, don't be!”
