We checked out the reviews before we went so we were expecting really great food. Needless to say we were disappointed. Salmon was dry, Rizzuto was very good. My husband's prime rib was a fail. Too well done & it seamed like a sirloin steak....not great at all. The service wasn't all that great either, never offered us apps which surprised us. Took 4 ever to get a drink. Sorry but we won't be back😞
Stephanie and her crew have created a very special spot on the main street in Meaford. Stopped by for dinner and an expertly guided whisky flight in September 2025. Stephanie has curated quite a collection of over 1,000 bottles of whisky. Likely the largest collection in Canada. Very impressive. Looking forward to another flight!
My first time back at The Dam Pub since they relocated to Meaford and their food and drinks are still wonderful! They were kind enough to make the Jack Daniels Caesar like I used to have at their previous location. My brother enjoyed their Auchentoshan whiskey dram and my husband loved their ginger drink. To start, we enjoyed their French onion soup and shared their deep fried haggis. For main, I went back to my favourite dish - their lamb shank. We also had the burger and bangers...
