“If you like live music, Bruce wine bar is a nice spot. Seating is intimate, but comfortable.Appetizers were creative and well-executed. Stand out apps included endive & ricotta and the chili shrimp. There was nothing wrong with the steak tartare but it was nothing memorable. We ordered "the beast" which is braised short rib - extremely tender, mushrooms were cooked perfectly and the squash and apple pizza. The pizza was well made, loved the thin crust - but will order different toppings next time. However it would be fair to note that I was advised to go with the bacon and brussels pizza, which I will try next time.Signature cocktail was delicious and service was fantastic and friendly.Parking: Parking is behind the TD.”

“Great coffee and baked goods! I've had most of the beans here. Just opened a bag of Ethiopia Birbes Kela and love it! Had a very prominent note of blueberry jam as soon as I opened the bag. Amazing considering blueberries don't grow in Ethiopia. This is my new favourite bean, great with milk based coffee drinks!”

“I love the Ashanti Coffee House. My favourites are the Sandwiches, nicely toasted. Cheesy yummy goodness. The coffee is great and I like picking up a few of the roasted coffee sacks for growing potatoes in my garden. Just get one of the sacks, fill it with 4 inches of soil in the spring. Place 5 potatoes in a star pattern (like the five star rating) and when the sprouts break through and get leafy, just add some more soil and keep doing that for 90 days... and voila a bag of potatoes... coffee sack becomes potato sack.. hows that for a coffee shop!”

“The sandwiches and pastries are fantastic, and the lone woman at the counter was incredibly nice while managing the lunch rush. Great coffee too. Lovely little spot for a quick lunch. The sandwiches were premade so it was very fast, but they tasted very fresh. Gorgeous brioche buns.”

“We ordered a very big order from New Orleans. There was some confusion that resulted in our order being delayed. The New Orleans customer service team was incredible and resolved our issues. The team work passed closed to ensure our order was delivered to us. While mistakes happen, this team dealt with it perfectly. Thank you! We will definitely order again.”

“I ordered a medium coffee triple. The elderly cashier lady noticed I was carrying my personal coffee size thermos and politely mention I am able to receive a discount if I requested a refill. I appreciated that and politely declined.Parking: Great location, however difficult for a coach bus to park.”

“New Year’s Eve dinner was wonderful. We both had the prime rib which was superb, complete with a lovely Yorkshire pud and amazing roasted Brussels sprouts. Add in excellent and entertaining service, and it all adds up to a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend!”

“Mother Tongue Bistro had a very well designed menu that was sure to cover a wide range of tastes and preferences.The food was prepared and served with great attention to details. The service, location, and atmosphere were also top notch and the chicken dumplings were the best dumplings i've ever tried. The French fries were to die for!The only downside about the food was the overpowering amount of oil in almost every dish we ordered. In my dish, the oil was so much that it was dripping out of my lobster Banh MI, making it messy and quite difficult to hold.Despite all of the nice things about this restaurant, I would only recommend it if oily food is your thing or if it is at least a factor that doesn't bother you.”

“Fun little restaurants on Main Street in Meaford is a must try . Inviting atmosphere with a fireplace and fun bar to sit at while looking at some 600 different types of whiskey to try . My friend ordered a flight of three types of whiskeys and enjoyed each one .Variety of food to pick from on the menu ranging from fish and chips , hamburgers, Shepards pie and many others . Deserts sounded good too .It's worth a trip into this restaurant to check it out .”

“It is worth the walk from village. It is a hidden gem. Interiors are welcoming with beautiful decorations. Service staff was amazing and quick. We took traditional farmer's breakfast. bakery bread was evenly toasted and was good crunchy, Potato hash was one of kind. perfectly seasoned and cooked.Another thing we tried was KAISERSCHMARRN (Funnel pancakes). These were fluffy, right amount of sweet and adorable presentation of food. Must try place.”
