Was going to sit on the terrace but it was very windy so I sat inside with my 91yr old mother. We ordered and 1hr later the food came. I went up to our waitress who was nowhere to be seen at 45min and asked if we were getting food. She said it was coming out but it still took another 45min. When it finally came she said "We only have 1 cook today" The issue is she said nothing to us for 1hr and other than saying sorry it took so long there was no offer to do something. At this point we wolfed down our food to make our appointment. The restaurant has to understand we didn't get to enjoy our food but still paid for it. Today we could have gone there for breakfast but went elsewhere because of our experience there. That's how they lose. I am reluctant to give them business again. Go at your own risk!

I've been to the Thornhill location of Symposium many times. The food is great and the prices are fair. There is one server there who is abrupt and rude. I seem to get him almost every time I go. He barely allows you to finish your order before he pretty much barks at you. No smile, no greeting...NOTHING. I have never left a review on here before but I took 2 friends who had never been and both said they won't be going back there today because of him. I don't know his name but I would definitely know him if I saw him. Tall gentleman with black short hair and brown skin. I know that's not much of a description but I just wanted to get out of there instead of looking for a manager or finding out his name.
