This is the second year we’ve bought birthday cakes from this bakery and our guests have loved them every time. Last year we purchased a cake with a printed image and it came out great! This year we also had guests with egg allergies attending so we ordered 18 of the egg-free dairy-free cupcakes with half of them chocolate and half vanilla. I was a bit nervous about how they would taste but all the kids loved the flavour and the kid with allergy even had two cupcakes! The icing also wasn’t too much / heavy, which is always appreciated. We will definitely be ordering from here again for our next birthday celebrations!

Hired Cakes by Robert to do mini cake centerpieces for my recent wedding. They not only created 18 beautiful and delicious cakes they were so accommodating with delivery logistics and coordination so everything would go off without a hitch.

They made the perfect wedding cake for us, tweaking one of their existing designs. The flower was gorgeous, the design classic and timeless. The vanilla cake and icing was admired by us and guests. They even delivered to our wedding venue slightly outside of regular delivery times - a manager dropped it off as our venue was close to the bakery. We also love their dairy free allergy options for our family gatherings - safe and delicious for all!

I absolutely LOVE this place. Everything is amazing. I can get egg free and also gluten free items for my family. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are well worth it. They do amazing work on custom cakes. I highly recommend this place. Please try them out. You won’t be disappointed. The cupcakes are amazing.

Having allergies and needing to know about specific ingredients is paramount to me. My daughter bought me nut free salted caramel butter tarts but didn't know if the pastry was lard, shortening or butter. A quick call to a very friendly employee got me the answer in less than a minute. And the tarts were very good. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and they are worth it!

Cakes by Robert has been making our treats for special occasions over the past few years. Everything is always so delicious, and beautiful! The staff are friendly, professional, and creative, always delivering exactly what we ask for. We will be forever customers of the best bakery in Toronto.
The cake is great. A little overpriced if I'm being honest but not crazy.Biggest issue is the store hours... you guys should be open until 6:00 or 7:00 just one night, maybe Thursday or Friday, so parents who work can still pick up an order.
