This is my favourite place for slushy cold noodles, though maybe it would be more enjoyable to have during the summer. Also got the pork bone soup which wasn’t really my favourite and lacked depth of flavour. Service is a little disorganized. After we sat down, we were asked by 4 different servers if we were ready to order. Maybe they just wanted us to hurry up …

Most of the staff was very rude, push to finish the food asap. Very disappointed!

their Bibim-naengmyeon was very disappointing, it came with half a boiled egg whereas the image had a large poached egg. For $20, this is almost criminal

I went during dinner time and it was busy with a lineup. Their tofu soup and beef soup was tasty and fitting during colder days. Their popular dish is their cold noodles, and I chose their Bibim Naengmyun (spicy cold noodles with slushy brother. It tastes refreshing and has a nice balance of spicy and sour, but it’s a bit pricey.

My all time favourite spot for cold noodles! It’s a must try, they make the best broth. It’s not too sour or spicy, the flavour is just right. Only thing was the seating, I was seated right next to the waiting area. When it got really busy, everyone in the waiting area is watching you eat. But the service is amazing so it makes up for it!

I had a foreign object in my soup, a hard, small white thing, like a tooth, really disgusting. The manager insisted it was a pig bone, saying it was normal. I said if it's a pig bone, there must be more than one. Can you show me another one? The manager said no, it was the only one. I said then I should really buy a lottery ticket. The boss arrogantly said yes, you should buy lottery tickets.I’ve been here multiple times but this is so disappointing. The food became less tasty, and now the basic food security cannot be guaranteed. When I try to review this found I’ve wrote a review one year ago, but now… no wonder there are less and less customers here. The food is bad, the manager is arrogant.

I was craving cold noodles and had to try out this place! The cold noodles did not disappoint, and the slushy broth was great. It also included five banchans (side dishes) which were ok. I did not appreciate how the condiments I was given for my cold noodles were taken away and given to another table while I was still eating. We were easily seated without a reservation on a weekday night, but their take-out window seemed much busier.I recommend getting one cold noodle dish and one hot soup dish to balance the temperatures throughout the meal.

We have frequented Cho Sun Ok often but have disappointed with the experience lately. We ordered the ramyun hotpot for two, priced at $48+, and the LA kalbi for around $37+.Initially, I wanted to customize my order but was surprised to find out that adding ramyun to a different hotpot would cost an additional $6+, which call me crazy seems unreasonable for instant noodles. Our experience was worsened by the staff's eagerness to rush us out. We barely had time to enjoy our meal before being asked if we were ready to pack up, just 20 minutes into our dining experience, food still on the table.Despite expressing that we needed more time, we were approached again shortly after by another server, which left us feeling quite uncomfortable. If you’re going to charge extra, provide a good experience. The combination of premium pricing and a rushed dining atmosphere left us thoroughly disappointed. With many other excellent Korean restaurants to choose from, we don't plan on returning to this establishment anytime soon.

I only had the cold noodles and the blood sausage platter, which included blood sausage, pig ears and pig tongue. In general, there isn’t much variety, but the specialties are all pretty good.

I use to come here with my family all the time and I’m happy they’re still running strong!Service is attentive and friendly, and the food came out really fast.We got kamjatang and bulgogi. It came with plenty of side dishes, and I particularly really like their kimchi. The kamjatang (pork bone soup) was great with large portions! The bulgogi also came with pretty large portions; I found it to be just okay, and as other reviewers have mentioned the pricing is getting pretty steep.I think it’s a good spot for grabbing a bite with friends and family, but nothing exceptional.

As a non korean, I don't know what is the best korean food or if it is authentic. Yet, I ate enough korean food to comment its taste, texture and flavors. CSO is definitely a on the 75% percentile of all the korean restaurants I experienced. The Tang sooyook pork is delicious, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The sweet and sour are perfectly balanced. It is a good set up for the much more pungent entrees. Soodae Guk is a good try but only for the spicy stomach. Yookgae Jang is flavorful with glass noodle. Of course, how can one complete a korean meal without the Gamja Tang (aka pork bone soup). It is probably the best one I had in Toronto. This restaurant is busy even on the weeknight. I came at 630pm and need to wait for a table. Servers are friendly. All in all. Thumbs up.
