“A hidden gem in the plaza beside Longos. I ordered a custom cake and called Julia twice with some specific requests. She truly delivered and did a FANTASTIC job!! The price was also extremely reasonable - a tall 8” cake topped with four macarons came up to $55. It was moist, decadent, and not too sweet. If I was to be very picky, I would request the hazelnut in the buttercream to be crushed into smaller pieces and caution the pistachio and mocha flavours in the macarons were not prominent. Still, a solid 5/5 and I will order here again. Thank you for the special cake for a special person :)“

“Went for breakfast, we ordered the Classic breakfast and a turkey bagel. Love the Turkish bagels, all the spreads, it was perfect to have a little bit of everything, some salty some sweet. Staff were super friendly and explained the items included in the Classic we were not familiar with. They have a huge assortment of bakery items to choose from as well, hard not to admire all the options when you enter 😉 didnt get to try any this time around, but hopefully next time. Janet picked up my call and was an absolute angel who was helpful, patient, and gave me great advice based on my needs. She turned a stressful situation around for me completely and I really appreciate it! I was astounded by the amazing friendliness and cheerful demeanor from the staff upon entering to pick up my online order.

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“I did the cake workshop with my partner. The workshop is $250 for one person plus an additional $50 for a second person.

It may seem expensive at first glance, but I felt the workshop was really worth it! The instructor was really kind and patient. She explained the process and she answered any questions I had about the baking. She was knowledgeable with the science and why we do things a certain way when it comes to baking. As someone with an interest in baking, this was really helpful and productive for my own future baking adventures!

The cake turned out great. The chiffon cake itself without the whipped cream and fruits was so soft! I loved how we had creative freedom to decorate the top of the cake on our own near the end. I would highly recommend this as a date activity or with a friend :)“

Crispy on the outside and mochi on the inside. It’s like they were popping donuts! The owner was so kind. And he shared with me how they are so serious about fresh donuts that if a donut isn’t sold in the timeframe they are supposed to be enjoyed, it’s thrown out. Guaranteed fresh! “My experience was amazing from the first conversation! My daughter had a vision for her 4th birthday cake (The shape and decorations were a little different to normal young people cakes) and this wonderful human brought it to life!!! Nothing was too hard for her even if my requests were a little weird. When we picked up the cake my daughters face said it all. And then to top other off the my guests loved the taste. Cannot wait to need a cake again soon!“

The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. The variety of flavors was fantastic, with each one tasting fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, even as my kids took their time deciding on their choices. The store was clean and inviting, making our visit even more enjoyable. From classic flavors to creative new options, Baskin-Robbins exceeded our expectations. “My favorite place in Toronto for ice cream! The flavors are rich and creamy. The store on Avenue doesn't have parking but it's a nice little walk from home or we park up the street and walk to it. My son loves their ice creams too! Lots of fun flavors and toppings for kids. I'm yet to try their pop corn or ice cream cakes but will do soon! Wish they had dining accommodation but they don't. Excellent customer service and great menu selection. They have a fridge in-store for larger tubs if you'd like take-away or for a party. They also do Ubereats ?“
