The cake decorator/designer, Julia was so lovely since the beginning of the process at the time I met her in-person. She demonstrated above and beyond customer service checking in and calling days prior to confirm details and any last minute changes/cake design requests I wanted. Julia is so lovely and thoughtful and I very much appreciate it. Big thanks to Liron as well for coordinating the order and making my cake budget worth every dollar. Both cake flavours I requested were so tasty and not too sweet.

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“Received your donuts for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. They are the most delicious donuts I’ve ever tasted. The lemon meringue, chocolate cheesecake and cinnamon bun were my favourites. They stay fresh even the next day. We will definitely be ordering more. I have shared the name with family and friends.“

“Had our wedding recently. We received so many compliments for our wedding cake made by dearDeer. So many guests told us the wedding cake was unexpectedly delicious and fluffy, and some engaged couples asked us which bakery it was from. My husband and I actually didn't get a chance to eat the cake because we were too busy moving around! We needed to try for ourselves so we ordered a tasting box afterwards. Our wedding cake consisted of three tiers, each with a different flavour: Black sesame, matcha, honey yuzu. We included these flavours plus mocha in our tasting box. I personally like matcha the best.

The price for the wedding cake might have been a little expensive, but it was well worth it. Let alone the fact that everyone at the wedding was pleasantly surprised by its taste, the handcrafted figures accompanying the cake were so heartily made, cute, and very similar to the pictures I provided.

Simply put, their cakes are beautiful and tasty. Highly recommend!“

“My experience was amazing from the first conversation! My daughter had a vision for her 4th birthday cake (The shape and decorations were a little different to normal young people cakes) and this wonderful human brought it to life!!! Nothing was too hard for her even if my requests were a little weird. When we picked up the cake my daughters face said it all. And then to top other off the my guests loved the taste. Cannot wait to need a cake again soon!“

Imagine putting cream into the fridge so it’s a little firmer, but still creamy and light to the bite.So good to throw it inside a bun and with flavours! The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. Overall amazing place.“

Back with the Baklava, as it becomes the baseline for establishing good bakeries, it is filled with a thick layer of walnuts soaked in a sweet, sticky syrup. A pastry that's quickly climbing my personal ranks, Galaktoboureko features a smooth custardy bite with a touch of vanilla, contrasted with the subtly crisp filo dough on top that's soaked with honey syrup.“

“My favorite place in Toronto for ice cream! The flavors are rich and creamy. The store on Avenue doesn't have parking but it's a nice little walk from home or we park up the street and walk to it. My son loves their ice creams too! Lots of fun flavors and toppings for kids. I'm yet to try their pop corn or ice cream cakes but will do soon! Wish they had dining accommodation but they don't. Excellent customer service and great menu selection. They have a fridge in-store for larger tubs if you'd like take-away or for a party. They also do Ubereats ?“
