“I would like to recommend Victoria K Cakes to anyone looking for theme cakes for a celebration! My family has been ordering cakes from them for the last 5 years and they are always gorgeous. I have included a picture for my daughter’s 21st birthday party and it was a big hit! We chose strawberry shortcake filling and it was delicious. 😋“

“A hidden gem in the plaza beside Longos. I ordered a custom cake and called Julia twice with some specific requests. She truly delivered and did a FANTASTIC job!! The price was also extremely reasonable - a tall 8” cake topped with four macarons came up to $55. It was moist, decadent, and not too sweet. If I was to be very picky, I would request the hazelnut in the buttercream to be crushed into smaller pieces and caution the pistachio and mocha flavours in the macarons were not prominent. Still, a solid 5/5 and I will order here again. Thank you for the special cake for a special person :)“

“We had an emergency and needed a cake that was made elsewhere to be fixed. Luckily they helped us fix it and made it look brand new again like nothing happened and even added a new layer cake in the bottom within 40 minutes. We were very impressed and so grateful to them. Thank you again! 🙏❤️“

“Went for breakfast, we ordered the Classic breakfast and a turkey bagel. Love the Turkish bagels, all the spreads, it was perfect to have a little bit of everything, some salty some sweet. Staff were super friendly and explained the items included in the Classic we were not familiar with. They have a huge assortment of bakery items to choose from as well, hard not to admire all the options when you enter 😉 didnt get to try any this time around, but hopefully next time. “My family really enjoyed the cake from Vava. The decoration was perfect, exactly like the picture and even more impressive in appearance in person.

Cake flavour is good - taro mochi, lovely flavoured mochi bits, light chiffon cake.

“Absolutely delicious sweet and savory treats. I have so many food allergies but I can safely eat the food from this bakery. i appreciate the plant based options too. I love the oat fudge bars, vanilla cakes/cupcakes, chocolate cakes/cupcakes, custom cakes, both types of quiche, the scones, brownies, spiced chocolate bar, lattes, drip coffee, cookies...geeze I guess I go there a lot. I haven't even tried everything in the bakery yet. It is a wonderful for breakfast, midday treat and dessert after dinner. I stock up on Sunday to have enough to last me until Thursday morning when the bakery reopens for the week. I am having a very hard time sticking to just one item a day. It is great for school lunch treats because it is a nut free bakery. This is important for school staff and students.“

“Went to this store because I really needed a birthday cake and since I work just across the street I thought why not give it a try. Oh boy they did not disappoint. Every cent I spent was worth it. The cake looked amazing, tasted even better, and the birthday celebrant and everyone else loved it. They even asked me where I got it so they could try it too. “Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.

Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.

Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.

Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.

Staff are super friendly and courteous.
