Horrible service! 9 people in here and the two girls are ignoring customers as they scramble to clean for closing (it’s 10:00 and they close at 11). I’ve never seen people so blatantly ignore customers. If I owned this place…they’d be fired.

**Update: I did contact the customer service and they completely disregard my concern/issue. They only sent me a generic response without addressing the problem.@dear owner - you did not follow up and you did not look into this!My boyfriend and I went to this location to redeem our $1 Blizzard coupons and the employee of the store refused to honour them. He said because we came together only one of us was allowed to use a coupon! Never in my life heard of that excuse before. I had my own coupon on my app and my bf had his own coupon but because we entered the store together, we were not allowed to use both coupons!!!That's a good way to lose a customer!

Terrible location. Came here with my 2 young children to use a coupon that we had been waiting to redeem. I showed the coupon and the cashier said “that expired yesterday” (3/31/24). I pointed out the expiry date, which showed 4/2/24 at which point he said “ya, we’re not accepting that coupon anymore”, with a dismissive tone. Will never come back to this location again. Ended up going to a further location that accepted the coupon without any issues.

This place was dirty and it needed a good cleaning. There was chocolate sauce all over the handle at the exit and the boy working at the register said that he would not let us use our coupon from the mobile app stating store policy.

I have never experienced worse customer service. I had come in to redeem my DQ Rewards Deal and the staff gave me so much negative attitude while I was ordering. She then told me it was cash-only after redeeming my deal and was unable to return it back into my account. Not only was she unapologetic about wasting my rewards, but she then rolled her eyes and continued to act annoyed. One of the rudest staff I have ever interacted with.

Went for a $1 blizzard with my girlfriend from their promo code on their application. Lady and then Daniel the cashier said we can only have 1 per group as per store policy? When that wasn’t stated anywhere in the store even though we implicitly stated we were paying and ordering separately. Regardless whether this is on the owner or on the employees it’s quite a poor policy. The whole point of the $1 promo blizzard is to attract customers.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The service was horrible and the staff, one of them being Daniel and another female worker were very rude and not considerate at all. We went to get the $1 blizzard and we were going to pay separately. They told us after the fact that we bought 1 that we could only get 1 per group. There was no sign at all to tell customers that and the app did not mention that. They were very rude and it was a disappointing service. I wouldn’t have even paid for the first blizzard if I knew that before hand. I would have walked in separately. We had to share 1 small blizzard between 2 people all because they couldn’t bare to make another for $1.05They expected me to get one blizzard here and drive 20 minutes to another location to redeem another one just because they couldn’t afford to give 1 other blizzard away.Very very disappointing location. Would never go back after witnessing this as it was such an inconvenience.

Disgusted to witness an interaction with the staff at this location and a customer. The customer brought her daughter who requires a wheelchair and they wouldn’t honour her coupon for her daughter who was in the car. The car was parked right outside the store window very visible to the employees. The cashier made the customer assemble the wheelchair in the pouring rain even when the mother brought in both phones. When I witnessed and advocated for the customer, they refused to do anything, saying they are only following the rules. There is no empathy and are very rude as this location. I have witnessed many people fight to use their coupons at this location. I will be reaching out to head office to complain. So sad that dignity and respect were not given to a customer with a disability.

My experience at the 531 Atkinson Ave DQ location was quite disappointing. Despite the advertised $1 small blizzard deal on the app, I wasn't able to redeem my coupon due to their system being down. Even though I had the verification code on my phone, the staff said they couldn't honor the discount.What's more frustrating is that when I asked for a copy of my receipt and inquired about returning with proof of purchase for a refund, I was told it wasn't possible. They insisted that the coupon had to be used at the time of purchase, despite my attempts to do so.Considering this promotion is supposed to be available at all DQ locations across Canada, I find it hard to understand why they couldn't accommodate me later with proof of purchase. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Me and My friend went to this location today at 6:18 PM to access the 1$ blizzard deal. The employee on the front desk ( black lady) let my friend redeem the deal, however when my turn came she simply refused and said that only one treat can be given to a group and thus refused to give it to me. She told me that it's the employee's discretion whether they want to give the deal to customer or not. Now that is such a misrepresentation and false advertisement by DQ. I drove all the way long to get this deal and my experience was pathetic. This is such a discriminatory behaviour that the staff has shown.The employees must be trained properly and have the basic courtesy.

I met someone in line and chatted. I gave them a coupon, I had one as well. The Dairy Queen wouldn’t allow separate purchases honouring each coupon. They considered us grouped together, saying only one coupon per group.I have coupons for a poutine from Dairy Queen and this location doesn’t even make fries.
