Efendi Turkish Restaurant (BAYVIEW LOCATION)

You come here for the great food. That's it. Just ignore everything else. If you're used to the regular niceties and attentive servers, skip this one!

We decided to check it out the restaurant because we heard the Turkish food is amazing, and we were not disappointed! There was so much delicious food, and we barely had to wait at all. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

I always order food online from this restaurant, and I love the food here! But this time I decided to go in person for the breakfast with my family! The customer service was so bad, they brought our orders wrong 2 times, and after 45 minutes of waiting we had our order! They brought the wrong bill at first too! The breakfast wasn't good as the food they have! I love the food and I will order in again, but I will never come to this restaurant in person and definitely not for breakfast!

The food was very tasty and overall everything was great. My only complaint was that the music was too loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We asked them to lower the volume at least just a bit but we were ignored unfortunately. Otherwise everything else was great.

First time at this establishment and will definitely return. Our attendant was on his first day working at the restaurant so he missed a few things that would have let us give a higher ranking. E.g failure to refill our water unless we asked, same with the delicious breadbasket as we were told they would do and finally not knowing proper protocol for bringing sugar/ spoons etc for the after dinner Turkish coffee we ordered. These will hopefully improve as he was eager to please and really did try his best so we gave a pass on this occasion. Quality of food was outstanding! Very flavorful and portion sizes were good.

Recently had dinner at Ifendi Turkish Restaurant on Bayview, and while the overall experience was good, there were a few mixed impressions. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. The main dishes, especially the Kabab meats, and the chicken were flavorful and well-prepared—definitely the highlight of the meal. However, the meze and bread were fairly average compared to other Turkish restaurants I've been to. That said, the portion sizes were decent, and the food was fresh. If you're looking for a satisfying Turkish grill experience, it's worth checking out, though there might be room for improvement in the appetizer selection.

They charged us double and tried to make us pay for it. When we told them, they didn't offer to refund us but instead only offered some baklava

The food was great. My only issue was the service. Servers were nice enough but I had to repeat multiple times for forks and water. Maybe it's a language issue or the restaurant being busy but I hope this issue will be resolved for next time.

I had the Adana Kebab with Bulgar... delicious! We were all pleased with our meals and service. Relaxing atmosphere.

The service was absolutely terrible. There were only 3 other tables and it took forever to place an order and get our food.

Amazing food, very busy. We made reservations and we had to still wait for 10 mins and once seated we had to wait to put in our order. Overall, very good and I would go again.

Experience was good . Staff was nice and polite . Food was good too. Just felt the platter was a little cold , but not bad . Overall good experience and the ambiance is nice and clean .
