Yes, it's expensive for kimbap. However, they make it so well. Highly recommend the cheese kimbap. The cream cheese inside this one works so well.

On a reco from someone from Korea and who can make gimbap herself, I ventured out to find this recommended gimbap place after finding about the Korean dish from a TV show. I gotta say that I was impressed by the size of the roll and the quality for the price. Two rolls is a lot of food. One is enough; two is maybe gluttonous.
Telling the front staff that this was my first time there, she recommended the Kimchi Tuna Gimbap and then the Bulgogi Gimbap. The rolls were well-presented and were indeed delicious. Based on the quickly forming line-up for a weekday lunch, this place is clearly a favourite in the neighbourhood.

I ordered Bulgogi Kimbap for takeout. The taste was the typical Bulgogi flavor, and as shown in the picture, the Kimbap was filled with a generous amount of Bulgogi. However, one issue was a bit concerning—there was a short black hair rolled into the Kimbap, which you can see in the picture. I hope more attention is paid to this in the future.

I tried the jalapeno gimbab and it was delicious. The gimmari was also really good. Friendly staff as well. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes.

I tried their food at the Korean Festival, and I have been suffering from diarrhea for two days. This is the only food that I had on that day.

The kimbap tasted too salty, and when I opened the tteokbokki, it smelled a bit strange, so when I looked at it, I saw that the cabbage had turned black. I almost left it.
I enjoyed it when it first opened, but it's been a while since I ate it, and it feels like something has changed. Or is it just today?
And it's not a big deal, but the lid of the kimbap case didn't match the plate, so when I packed it, the lid was open. I wish it was packaged with a lid that fits the plate.
We ordered the tuna kimchi gimbap and unfortunately found a piece of plastic in it. Very disappointed with the quality control.

Ordered takeout online and paid an extra 3 dollars for fishcakes in the rose tteokbokki. Unpacked at home and it wasn't added in. Probably wouldn't be a problem if you ordered in person and made sure they knew. The tuna gimbap was tasty and had a good proportion of fillings. Definitely should order the food the restaurant is named for!
