Loved my visit to Golden Star Restaurant! The food was delicious and freshly prepared, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend

Came for lunch as we were craving an old school style burger and poutine after eating Smash burgers previously.

The burger was exactly what we were hoping for. The patty had a nice crisp on the outside but was juicy. The ability to choose our own toppings was great as well!
The poutine was a good portion size and they do not skimp on the gravy or cheese! There was an abundance and hit all the right buttons. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great, just the way I like it. The owner/manager was warm and friendly, which added a nice touch to the experience. However, the cashier came across as unwelcoming. Overall, I enjoyed the vibe of the place.
