The WORST food experience ever! I picked up a thali and was told it was “fresh.” Within just 20 minutes of reaching home, the food was already spoiled — absolutely unacceptable. The dishes were drowning in oil, unbearably spicy, and nothing short of a health hazard. Eat this for a week and you’ll be in the hospital.
The portions are a scam. The subji containers are so tiny that one roti can finish the whole thing. For the price they charge, it’s insulting. Even street food vendors provide healthier, fresher, and safer food than this so-called restaurant.
Cleanliness? Zero. Staff serve food with bare hands, no gloves, no hygiene practices at all. Honestly, it makes me wonder who even gave this place permission to operate in the first place. It needs serious inspection.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs — it’s not just bad food, it’s a risk to your health and money.

I wish google had a way to negatively review businesses, however 1 star is the minimum unfortunately as The old management is back and so are the stale foods, rude service, higher prices, and even a 2.4% card fee. Had a previous experience with the old management when they don’t let you dine in with a thali order, she would let you sit only if you purchased their comparatively pricey buffet. The brief period under new management was amazing — fresh food, fair prices, and great service — but sadly those days are gone as the old management is back with the terrible and pathetic service. Never-ever coming back.

Had been a regular customer to govardhan Thal, the previous owner ( Husband and wife) were very friendly, kind and nice. However since the new owner (LADY) came back the customer service was very bad. Way too rude as if we are buying for free, all of sudden the start charging credit card charge of 2.4%. Never coming back to the store again .

This place used to be really good. I used to come here every week, the price was reasonable, the service was great and the food was delicious. This was especially true when the place underwent new management, the buttermilk was better, pani puri, they even had paneer. But for some reason, they reverted back to their old management and raised the price. The food is mediocre now-if even. I introduced 20 people to this restaurant, and none of us will be back.

I went there to eat my lunch, it was my first time going in here, the food was mediocre, Gujarati Dal was bad, smells i tried little bit and i can tell it’s really bad, after that i didn’t even try anything, everything looks stale to me or was prepared few days ago, not recommended going there! We had an emergency and my wife requested if she could use the washroom like requested but god damn these people were like oh it’s only for customers.
It seems they lack the fundamentals of human kindness and I also had their food in the past not that great either. But the above incident changed my perception so not going back there ever again not recommending either. If you can’t understand basic things in life how you gonna server people food I wonder. Thank you for your great service eh

We were never properly served. She was too busy on her phone and just kept saying “2 min, 2 min” but never actually helped us.
There was an elder lady making rotis and she was a doll, so sweet and she really tried to help as much as she could, but that arrogant girl ruined the whole experience.
Most of the food trays were empty and when we asked for sabji, they just microwaved old food and gave it to us. The only good thing was the fresh roti, but even that we got only after asking two or three times.
Worst experience. I’ll never go back and definitely wouldn’t suggest anyone else to go either.

Last time i odered Dabeli Dhokla and Tea , this time I odered vada pao and Tea .Tea is super awesome.Highly recommend to everyone must vist GOVARDHAN THAL. Thanku kavya and team.❤️❤️

Absolutely loved the experience at Govardhan Gujarati Unlimited Food! The food was so so so delicious — every dish was packed with authentic Gujarati flavors and made with so much love. From the farsan to the sweets, everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The hospitality was heartwarming, and the unlimited thali truly felt like a feast. I seriously want to visit again and again! A must-try for anyone who loves traditional Gujarati food. 💛
