The service was excellent, however, the food left little to be desired. I always view Kinton as the fast food version of what a proper bowl of ramen should taste like so I didn't come here with high expectations. However, this was was even below that standard. My appetizer came cold in the middle but the waitress was quick to get another one made and even came back to check to see if it was okay. I usually find ramen broth to be too salty but this was the first time that I wished my ramen was saltier. On the plus side, I guess I don't need to feel as guilty with my sodium intake. Another plus is that my noodles were cooked al dente whereas other Kinton locations I've been to slightly overcook the noodles.

I have been coming to this place for almost 5 years now. Love their miso ramen. It’s really tasty! Their takeout packing is very sturdy and good as well.
I noticed within last year that the quality of the noodles have degraded, I feel that they refrigerate their noodles and they are not made on the they of, doesn’t look and taste fresh. You can actually see the noodles being bunched up and frozen.
Overall I like the taste of their ramen soup.

I had the original pork with thin noodle .

Broth - was blend and flavorless
Noodle - the thin noodle was also tasteless
Egg - was great and spot on
Pork - was also meeting the standard

The most important parts were the soup and noodle , and both seriously failed the standard of a Japanese ramen ya

My friend and I had dinner at this restaurant last night and ordered the pork ramen. The pork had a noticeable sour taste, which made us suspect it had gone bad. We immediately told the staff, and they quickly replaced the bowl — but the new one still had the same issue.
Both of us ended up having diarrhea later that night and the following morning, likely due to spoiled meat. I hope the restaurant seriously inspects the quality and storage of its ingredients to protect customers’ health.

Chainy flavors. Nothing particularly special, but okay if you have a craving

I want to like this place, but unfortunately, my meal this afternoon was less than stellar.

To start I had the deep fried dumplings, which were OK nothing special until I had one that was still cold in the centre from being frozen.

My main was the pork Ramen in a miso broth unfortunately the pork was cold on my hot soup, which was a little offputting, but tasty. The miso broth was rich and not too salty with a little bit of spice. Noodles were what I expected, in summary, it wasn’t the worst Ramen I’ve had, but it certainly was not the best.

As a positive I would say the service was fantastic polite, and prompt.

Starting the first Kinton Ramen in the kinsington market, I have been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs. And last weekend I had worst experience at this location.
I witnessed a lady who tried to wave to get a server's attention for over 10 mins, everybody saw her, but didn't stop by and take her order. Same for us. After waiting for half hour, we were told a dish we ordered was not prepared and they asked us to switch to another protein - and we did. Waited another half hour for our Ramen to finally served on the table, after watching them fulfilled maybe 30 bowls for take out order. I understand there's time limit for online orders, but it is restaurant's responsibilities to make sure:
1) the store is properly staffed, and
2) whether to take the online orders when the dine-in traffic is obviously overwhelmed.
As a dine in customer, I felt extremely uncomfortable, or say, I was very much irritated.
I felt bad for the servers too, they were nice but they couldn't do anything, it was just seriously understaffed.
Not mentioning the soup base that I always liked was not even good here somehow.
We won't be back.

I ordered the new spicy pork jalapeño.. and it was spicy indeed! The 2 big slices of meat had a great taste although the noodles could have had more taste..something was missing I don't know what. The soup with noodles was great.
The most exciting part is that they provide one free starter if you show the Presto card or app.
Overall it was a nice experience..great place for people who eat meat and chicken..there are various options

They prioritize delivery over dining-in. For lunch we waited more than 45 mins for our noodles to be served.
