great chinese food! staff are quite friendly. they charged us for an item we never received and had cashed out their dimsum shift. however, they kindly offered us to come back next time for the refund and the complimentary dish. bathrooms are really clean too. great space for parties, large gatherings, or a table for 2 to order 18 dimsum & a la cart lunch items!

This place has ample seatings, yet was super busy on a Saturday and we had to wait a little. We wanted the lobster balls with vegetable in fresh fish soup, but was sold out. The substitute soup we chose (vermicelli fish soup with assorted mushroom) was mediocre. We liked the deep fried chicken and veg dumpling (which was a little sweet). The noodle dish has plenty of shrimp and scallops and flavourful. It took time to receive the wagyu pastry, we were full by then. Not a bad dimsum, maybe have to try other items here.

Good food. Very tasty. Staff is nice. Restaurant is clean. Price is fair. Would go back to try all the other stuff.

Pretty good, but have to pick and choose a la carte - not combo menu, although those are good deals. Dishes are smallish but nicely presented. Flavours are also good not too strong. Must try the deep fried spare ribs! The suckling pig is also must eat - very crispy. Pricing high but on par with fancier Toronto restaurants. Dining room is spacious. Staff was A+++ and all wearing face coverings.

Beautiful restaurant that had amazing service! Came here for a birthday dinner and had a luxurious private room all to ourselves - party of 9. The room had a massive marble round table and beautiful chairs to match. The best part? The massive lazy Susan in the middle of the table automatically spins, making it easy for everyone to get their food. Service was amazing and tentative. Our server changed our dirty plates multiple times throughout the night and filled our tea cups often. It really elevated the dining experience here! Food at this restaurant was so delicious and flavourful! We got a combo with lobster, crab, fish, and multiple Chinese "wok" dishes. It ended with lobster roe fried rice which was out of this world! Definitely will be coming back for other special occasions and book this private room again! Can't wait to eat their delicious food! Perhaps I need to come sooner to try their dim sum.

Lots of people waiting at the entrance. No one cares to serve you. When you got the seats at the patio, the waitress staff were overwhelmed and did not want to serve. After repeatedly calling the waitress to close the bill, after 15 minutes the gave you the bill and they disappeared. In the end,, You have to get your own packing boxes and went to the cashier to pay for your bill. If you want to have an enjoyable and relax lunch. DO NOT GO here.

Very good set up, lot of space to avoid COVID infections. Dishes are very well prepared, taste very good. The price is on the high side but their set menu are very reasonable! Services are very good.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and have expanded even to le park area to accommodate large banquets. The service was a bit rushed. The food was decent compared to the rest of its near by competitors I would say this is a good alternative. Unfortunately the night we dined here there was a banquet in the other half of the restaurant which resulted with extreme difficulty to even hear anyone speak at our own table. It's our first time here since they moved locations I would give it another shot on a much less busy evening.

Tried both dimsum (lunch only) and dinner at 龙港. The dimsum is universally good (which honestly can be said for the most chunk of Cantonese/dimsum restaurants in Richmond Hill) and the dinner dishes were generally good as well. I cannot say 龙港 outperforms it’s peer restaurants, but it does provide an expected experience and food standard that cannot go wrong. The dimsum that had the highest standard in my opinion include the 肠粉 and 虾饺. They put deep fried flakes in the 肠粉 and I love the additional crisp it adds + it does bring out the flavour. For dinner (sorry no pictures for this part) we had the lobster and (pecking) duck set - all the dishes were generally well done but the fried rice with lobster roe was extremely bland and flavourless. I generally always round up (generously) for my reviews, personally 龙港 gets a 4.2/5 from me.

My wife lives this place. We were here in Dec 2021 & Match 2021. The seafood & beef taste really. But, I think you need a group of 5 or more to really experience most of the food that they have.

It was one-of-a-kind experience, but in a pretty bad way. I booked a wedding dinner here because this place was recommended by friend who says it provides quality presentation and service that is worth its higher prices. The menu and website also looked trustworthy. Tried pre-ordering several days ahead when I booked the table, but was told to order when we arrive. We arrived at 7:30pm for our table reservation and placed our order (Lobster combo E + Peking duck + vegetables. ~13 dishes) right before 8pm since the bride was arriving late. Explicitly told the server multiple times that the bride has a pretty severe onion allergy, and was promised that there will be no onion in any of the dishes. The bride arrives ~8:10pm just as our first dish (Peking duck) comes to the table. The duck was small with barely enough to go around our table of 13, but no matter. The second and third dish each took almost 15min to arrive after we finished the previous dish and was on the small side, which we attributed to a really busy kitchen. The bride also started getting a small allergic reaction, but it is very difficult to completely avoid contact with onions when eating Chinese cuisine. Understandable. However, when it became 9:45 pm and we watched the table beside us complete two rotation of customers with full course meals similar to ours while we were still waiting for our 4th dish, something started not adding up. We reasoned it shouldn't take so long to prepare even the ginger-cooked vegetables, nor were we shown any of the seafood normally displayed before being prepared for our lobster combo. Our server had checked in on us 4 times during our wait, once to take our order, and the other three times when our dishes arrived. our teapots were empty long ago and the bride and groom were obviously concerned about the wait, but did not ask questions, trusting the restaurant I chose. Finally at around 10pm one of the groom's relatives couldn't take it anymore and walked to the front desk to discuss our situation. Several servers immediately arrived to "check" the situation but inadvertently lost our order recipt in the process. At this point, all the other tables around us has pretty much finished their meals and we were the only table left in the vicinty. Our 4th dish (AAA beef) finally arrived at 10:10pm, but was covered in onions. We immediately requested them to take the dish away and reminded them of our dietary concerns, but the strong smell of onion had already triggered a mild allergic reaction from the bride (Thankfully it was not ingested). The server also finally brought out the lobsters for us to confirm its weight and looks, but also requested we pay our bill because the front desk is closing. We haven't even gotten half of our dishes yet at that point, but I agreed to pay to avoid further disruption to the bride and groom's night. When I double checked the bill, there was an extra charge for additional pounds of lobster despite the fact that they confirmed the weight of the lobster with us literally minutes ago. When I confronted them about it, they acted ignorant about the weight, apologized, and immediately erased the charge. I decided to give them less tips than typical for Chinese traditions due to the accumulation of these experiences and expected that to be the end of our troubles. The server immediately returned after checking the bill and proceeded to loudly complain to me in front of the table about the tip I gave, unapologetically requesting for a higher tip and left the bill at the table. Any attempts at the table to keep a joyous atmosphere fell dead at this point, and we ate quickly whatever was served while the the staff were rolling up tables, filling garbage bags, and dissembling barriers/walls all around us. The rest of the 8 dishes arrived within 15minutes of the lobster being shown. To throw a final wrench into things, the server notified us that one of the desserts from our menu was not available anymore because the dessert chef has already left(?), but they can compens

Not a pleasant experience at all. I was over from Ireland visiting family. We were shown to a table at the back of the restaurant even though there was plenty of seating to the front. We were given the menus but were not asked if we would like drinks etc. When I asked if it was possible to have a knife and fork when I ordered my meal the waiter just dropped them onto the table with a napkin. The food arrived and was OK. The bill was left on the table before we had finished our meal and plates were removed even though my husband had not finished. No further interaction between staff and ourselves. I took the bill to the cashier at the front of the restaurant and voiced my disappointment to the waiter that served us. Hospitality definitely is not the name of the game in this restaurant. We will not be revisiting the Lobster Port when we return to Canada.

It's very spacious and well decorated since the restaurant had moved to this location only a year or two ago and they had renovated the building. The previous location didn't have enough parking whereas the new location has lots of parking and can hold more tables and guests. The food is more towards the bland side but is appropriate for going with older family who cannot handle saltier foods. However, my biggest issue with the food is the temperature. I'm not sure if it's because the table I was seated at was inside one of the private rooms and the food has to travel further from the kitchen but every dish I had ordered was lukewarm at best if not fully room temperature. Everything tasted fine but I don't enjoy eating cooled down dimsum. Prices are average with a 2$ tea charge per person but at this price point, I have many other choices for dimsum and Lobster Port would not be a first choice that I would consider. Takeout for this place would be okay since the food will be the temperature you expect by the time you get home with it and the flavours are fine. There are a few highlights from my meal here which namely are the baked BBQ pork buns (they come in 4) and the durian pastries. Also the pudding dish were coffee and coconut flavored jellos. If you eat them together, it's like drinking a coffee with coconut milk which was an interestingly delicious flavor combination. Overall, I would go back eventually to see if they improved on their timeliness in the delivery of their food because the food is excellent. It's just not hot. Takeout is fine and it's spacious with lots of parking.

We got takeout from Lobster Port for a family dinner and found the food delicious! They have several combos to choose from and you can also order a la carte as well. We tried the one that came with a tray of lobster, seafood fried rice, snow pea tips (one of my favourite Chinese veggies), chicken, and Chinese soup. The portion was just right for the five of us and everything tasted good. The pickup process was very smooth with limited contact which was great. I could tell that they run their operations very efficiently, especially with the large number of takeout orders they do everyday! I wouldn't hesitate to order from Lobster Port again. Pro tip - 10% off if you pay with cash!
