Had a great experience at this restaurant. The lady who helped us was very kind and welcoming, and created a pleasant atmosphere from the start. The service was excellent, and the food was really good. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality.
Very expensive for 2 people
Used to like this place, but after sitting at a table for 50 minutes without even being provided with water or utensils, having to ask for menus, and flag down 3 different servers for an update on our orders (which, apparently, never even made it to the kitchen despite being reassured by other servers that our food was almost ready), we won't be returning.
If you cannot provide service in your restaurant, consider either not opening that day or letting customers know before they waste their time waiting for service that will never come.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The only decent thing we ordered was the Baghali Ghatogh everything else was a disaster.
The Mast Moosir was a watery mess with no texture or flavor. They didn’t even bother offering any starter or small bites before the main courses, which is ridiculous for a place that charges like a fine dining restaurant.
The lamb chops were a joke. Mostly bone, barely any meat, and what little meat there was tough, dry, and chewy. It looked nothing like a proper lamb chop and the portion was so small, it was insulting.
The fish? Completely bland and clearly not marinated just thrown into oil and fried without any care. It tasted like something you’d regret even cooking at home, let alone pay restaurant prices for.
Overall, this place is overpriced, overrated, and careless. I would never step foot in there again, and I strongly warn others not to waste their money. There are plenty of better restaurants out there don’t fall for the hype here. Stay away
We recently visited a charming Persian/Gilani restaurant and were absolutely delighted. The baghali ghatogh was comforting and full of flavor, while the kebab torsh stole the show—perfectly tender, juicy, and infused with that signature tang from the pomegranate and walnut marinade. It felt like a delicious passport straight to the lush north of Iran.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, echoing memories of northern Iran with its rustic touches and cozy vibe. The only thing I’d change? The music. At a Persian restaurant—especially one steeped in regional identity—I’d love to hear Persian music, ideally some beautiful Gilaki or Iranian folk tunes. It’s just like when you go to an Indian restaurant and expect to be surrounded by the sounds of sitar or Bollywood, not American pop. The ambiance would feel more complete with melodies that match the menu.
Still, the food and nostalgic atmosphere made for a memorable experience. Highly recommend for lovers of Persian cuisine looking for an authentic taste of Gilan.
I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered Mirza Ghasemi, and it turned out to be the spiciest version I’ve ever had. It felt like the chef had a heavy hand with the pepper – completely overwhelming the actual flavor of the dish. It wasn’t enjoyable at all, especially considering the price.
The Koobideh was also surprisingly spicy, which is very unusual for this traditional dish. And the Zeytoon Parvardeh was just terrible – the taste was way off.
Honestly, it felt like the chef had never cooked proper Persian food before. If you’re looking for authentic flavors, I would not recommend this place.
Their chenge is the best in the city. Always great service.

Food was awful specially the rice smells awful. Desserts were icy. Service was poor. I requiem this restaurant isn’t worth it to expend any money . Waste of money and time. Also I ordered takeout food too there was no butter and somagh and also no spoons and fork. This was the worse Persian restaurant I’ve ever been.
Kabab, chicken & rice was the worse than other foods

Most of their food was of poor quality, raw and tasteless, and in the end, they charged 60 dollars for each bill with our displeasure.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, it seems that the level of service depends on the number of people at the table and the expectation of tips. If you're dining alone, you hardly receive any attention, which is truly unprofessional and disheartening. On top of that, the food was underwhelming and didn't make up for the poor service. Such discriminatory behavior is not fitting for a restaurant, and I hope the management takes this issue seriously.
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. Unfortunately, the level of service seems to be determined by the number of people at the table and the length of the wait for tipping. If you are alone, you will receive almost no attention, which is really unprofessional and uncomfortable. In addition, the quality of the food was disappointing and did not compensate for the poor service. Such discriminatory behavior is not worthy of a restaurant and I hope the management will take this issue seriously.
