If you want to try an authentic Persian dish well made in Toronto I highly recommend Qatar.
One of their signature dishes “ dizi,” is incredible—filled with lamb, chickpeas, and potatoes in a rich broth. You get to mash bread yourself, which adds a fun, traditional touch.
The plate is severed with fresh sangak bread and pickles, herbs If you want to try authentic Persian flavors, Dizi is the place to go!

We got one portion of chelo kabab koobideh and one cheo jooje as take out. It was wired that unlike all persian restaurants take out, no salad or drink came with the food. Rice portion was too small comparing to other Persian cuisines. Jooje kabab had not any flavor at all and was toooo plain ! I believe it was not worth it regarding the price.

Had the pleasure to dine in at their first day at the new location, Bayview Lane plaza. I ordered the koobideh dish, wild garlic yoghurt ( maste mousir ) and yoghurt drink ( dough ). The portions were more than enough and the food was tasty, fresh and very well presented. The koobideh kebab came with torshi ( sour vegetable ). The atmosphere is very pleasant with iranian ghajar pictures and old documents that take one back to the past. The restaurant was meticulously clean. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. They have a breakfast menue with the commonly loved kale pache and a lunch/dinner menue. They have a special kids menue too. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic persian food.

The place is really clean, the food is 10/10 and ive never had better service. The workers are super friendly.
I stopped here 10 minutes before they were closing. I am from out of town, here for my husband's surgery. The restaurant is in a strip mall, but decorated very nicely and very clean. The young lady at the counter told me they were closing but would accommodate my order no problem. She was very nice, polite, welcoming, excellent customer service. She was patient answering my questions about the menu. I requested some condiments and extra napkins as I was "car eating" as I like to call it. Again, super helpful and accommodating. AND ... I had not even tipped at this point, but of course I did. The food--awesome. I am a gormand foodie, I love food and this was great and extremely economical. And I am picky. I had the Zereshk polo & chicken leg--a roasted chicken leg with saffron rice topped with barberries. Thank you for your hospitality, you should drop off coupons at Shouldice Hospital for patients & guests, good with your restaurant I am sure you will do great! Best of luck to you.
