This guy makes the best kababas and rice, large portions, a bit on the pricey side but very high quality charcoal grilled food

I purchased take-out from here (one koobideh and one chicken breast both with rice). First off, the prices were very high ($9.99 and 10.99 respectively) considering they don't include any salad and/or drink like most places do. Secondly, my koobideh was very salty however the chicken breast luckily was fine. My issue was the gentleman serving us gave us the grilled tomatoes that were sitting out near the grill for god knows how long. He just reheated them and packed them in our boxes. This is definitely not the way it should be. He gave us packages of sumac spice powder which I noticed were "Best Before February 2016". I was there in April 2018. The kitchen area were the food is made looks unkempt and dirty with rice grains scatted around the entire area. Thankfully I did not get ill from the food. Their last 'YorkSafe" (food inspection) online shows March 2018 but the one posted was from 2017?! I will never return to this place as there are much better options around.

For sure not a classy place, but A Persian store with great bread, they make their own bread and it's the best.
