Phoenix Restaurant is a Hong-Kong fusion diner, and it was my first time here. On the way inside, there were gacha machines and a claw machine for customers to play. The interior of the restaurant looked nice, the tabling and ambiance were all OK.I ordered the Y04 Combo - Baked Pork Chop & Cheese w/ Tomato and Cream Sauce (subbed rice for macaroni), came with HK Milk Tea I asked for a cold milk tea so it's added $1.75). This combo comes with a free hot drink, but added fee if you want it cold. The dish was $16.50 (+1.75 for cold m.t). The dish itself was not bad, I could taste the tomato sauce, but not so much of the cream sauce. Pork Chop was juicy. Not bad overall. I'd come back for the Hainanese chicken rice! The menu has A LOT to offer. Feel free to choose something from the combo sets, it's a safe bet because it comes with a free hot drink (HK tea, Coffee, coffee & tea, lemon tea, or lemon water).

The drink and service were good. Food is usually pretty ok. However, I ordered the Japanese curry udon this time which tasted sour (too much Lea & Perrins)!! That was rather distasteful. Otherwise the rest was good.

The Bayview branch will not let you down. Although a new menu betrays price adjustments every time, this restaurant does well in keeping both the quantity and the quality. The baked fillet with rice and corn sauce is delicious. The corn sauce is in fact corn cream soup, which is thick in texture and gracious in quantity. This enables you to finish the last spoon with the sauce. The attendants are friendly and attentive. The place is spacious, comfortable and clean.

Love the new additions to the menu, especially the Black Truffle! Staff are friendly and attentive. I also appreciate the spacing of the tables and the cleanliness of the restaurant!

Topnotch service, good portion sizes and great taste! We sat at a large table and had a few small kids with us when we ate lunch here last long weekend. The friendly staff served us in Cantonese, Mandarin and English (or Chinglish), were very polite and even brought us several sets of kids' cutlery! After we had the chance to eat what we wanted of the savoury vermicelli fish broth soup, tomato and beef on rice and beef chow fun, they started preparing the chocolate ice cream bubble waffle we'd ordered so it was ready when we wanted to eat it. We enjoyed the meal and milk tea with coffee so much I didn't have the chance to take photos! Would definitely come back.

Standard HK Cafe fair with decent food. Prices are higher than other HK Cafe in the area, but portions are slightly bigger. There is a discount for paying in cash for take-out (Not sure about dine-in).I would recommend the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the cold milk tea.

Was just here for Mother's day brunch. The food and service was good all the way til when we were about to leave. There was this one lady (who may be more senior) who kept coming to our table to collect dishes. Seriously we were packing to go and would take max 20 seconds to get up to leave, she asked me to hand her one plate, and then kept standing there and asked me to hand her another plate. I was very annoyed and my husband almost didn't want to leave any tip, but I made him still leave 15% because it is unfair to penalize the other servers for that one lady's action. By the way, the washroom was also very dirty at 9:50 am in the morning which was a surprise because you would think we were one of the first ones in the restaurant. Quite disappointed. Instead of having a lineup of waiters saying thank you on our way out, please clean the washrooms and pay attention to how senior servers are treating customers....

I just received my order through skip the dishes. The worst food I have ever tried. I ordered fried shrimp and egg sauce with rice noodles. The shrimp is not fried and the dish looks disgusting and no taste.I just dumped it, now I have to look for something else to eat. Never again will I order from this restaurant

Food quality is pretty consistent and good. Reminds me of HK style cafes. Their combos are pretty worth it. Great quick, in and out meal place.

I have been a long time customer. I don’t mind that the price isn’t the cheapest because I like the food here. Order the buy 1 get 1 free promote yesterday and got the seafood pineapple fried rice. The rice had tiny bit of fake crab meat and a bit of tiny shrimp meat. 99% plain rice. It was pathetic. I want you to know that your decision to be cheap lost you a customer for life.
