Update: since visiting another local Pizza Nova store, I now see my pizza from here was approx 40% slightly charred, 40% slightly burned, and 20% bottom crust crispy/hard. That the burn was uneven over the pizza makes me think the oven has extremely uneven heat across its surface. Pizza bottoms should still be flexible and slightly brown.
Original review below: -- My experience with Pizza Nova stores is the food quality is noticeably better and more generous than other common chains, but on the odd occasion issues happen. Today, my pizza was slightly burned on approx 1/4 the bottom surface, with a slight bitter taste but still edible due to the great toppings (and my lost sense of smell).
Otherwise, was very happy when they released an excellent ordering app.

We ordered 4 party pizza for our son's birthday. Two cheese, one plant based pepperoni and one vegetable. The pepperoni and vegetable were burnt. We had them delivered to the party hall and couldn't have the replaced. Kids couldn't eat any of the burnt ones.

The food is great, unfortunately that smell...yikes. I don't know if everyone is nose blind or what? That deep lingering smell that is slightly off,slightly tangy and not food related ....that's Cockroach my friends. Very heavy in here...unfortunately I think people who live in the gta are accustomed to this smell and for some strange reason they either think it's part of the food making process, or they're just ignoring it. Sorry to have to break it to you...a large majority of restaurants in the GTA have this cockroach smell...and it means you have them. Come here at night and turn the lights off...you'll see. 🤮 Yuck...please fix this issue.
