I hope people know that this is a proper red bean waffle. The shape of the waffle is like a wave of nostalgia. Tastes amazing!

Spicy rice cakes were nice and crispy with a kick of flavourful spicy sauce. Red bean waffles were fresh. I prefer their thin crispy batter over the Korean grocery store variants.

This is one of the best waffle houses I’ve been too, they had amazing staff who provide us with amazing service, I love how they aren’t stingy with how they make the waffles, I had gotten custard and they had filled it up nicely. The atmosphere of the store is very cosy and I highly recommend going in person and trying the waffles!!Vegetarian options: They’re ingredients do not contain meat substancesParking: They have a big parking lot in the plaza either many parking spaces even on a 4 pm on a FridayKid-friendliness: They are super friendly and their packaging looks really cool which would intrigue kids

I've never been too crazy about red bean-based desserts, but I'm always happy to try something that's highly regarded. So it was that we showed up at Red Bean Waffle House on a recent Saturday.Obviously I had to get the Red Bean Waffle. As it was handed to us, we were warned that it was extremely hot. And indeed, it felt quite hot to the touch. We waited about fifteen minutes and then began eating.Holy moly, this is one terrific dessert. The red bean filling seemed above-average for this sort of thing, as it was extremely flavorful and contained just the right amount of sweetness. But what really sealed the deal was the waffle surrounding it. It was crispy and delectable, and it had even been caramelized at a few spots. This thing is seriously addictive. And cheap, too! $4.50 for two of them! I wish I'd bought more to take home.

This is my happy place! This is my go to spot for taiyaki and Korean street snacks! When I was in the area for an appointment nearby, I made a slight detour to make sure I stop by to pick up a combo and box of fresh taiyaki. (Why buy only one when you can buy five?!) I love their tteokkochi, it's always a little crispy and nice and warm and chewy inside. I used to only order their teriyaki flavour as I wasn't able to take much heat, but I'm now able to handle the heat and order their spicy flavour now. I believe they make their own hotsauce blending the spices themselves. It is so good!!

This cute little shop inside a plaza in Thornhill offers the best Korean snacks! We ordered five of the red bean waffles and 5 of the custard waffles. Shaped like a fish and stuffed with filling, these waffles were delicious! They were the really crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My favourite was the custard flavour, as it's a bit sweeter than the red bean. The owners are very nice, takeout was quick and smooth. They also have unique flavoured cakes available and ice cream too! We will definitely be back to try them!

I come hear all the time for the taiyaki / 붕어빵 boong-uh-ppang which is the red bean fish shaped waffle. It's good.

Been coming here off and on for the past 4 years and it’s been wonderful every visit! The owner is super friendly and nice. Always feel welcomed and they’ve helped me accommodate last minute cake orders! Their cakes are so soft, light, not too sweet and reasonably priced. Our favourite to order is their earl grey cake! We enjoy their Nutella and custard fish shaped waffles on occasion. Their snack combo is slightly pricy but delicious and I enjoy everything in it. Will be back soon!

Ordered rice cakes from here through Uber eats and there was a staple in one of my rice cakes. I am not sure if the staple was from the packaging or if it was actually baked in with the rice cake. Nonetheless, chewing on a hard piece of metal was not pleasant. Please be more careful with packaging and preparations.

It is delicious! Eat it while it's nice and hot. It's crispy but the dough still has a nice chew to it. I personally like the red bean flavour most.

It's great to have these little joints that do one thing well. While visiting à nearby café, we stopped in to grab a box of "boong-uh-pang". Interesting to see filling like Nutella in the mix, we opted for a mixed box of red bean ones and Nutella ones. It was tasty and the batter was definitely closer to what we had in Korea, not cakey but more gluey which may seem like an odd description but for those of you that have expérienced these delicious street treats in Korea will know what I mean. I will stop in for another box when I am back in the area.

Yummy red bean version. If I wasn't visiting Toronto, I'd come back and try everything else.
