The people who serve in this store are very kind and generous. They care a lot about their customers being happy and from the bread that they personally make fresh with their own hands to the smallest thing in this shop, it is fresh and of excellent quality so that they can keep their customers happy which is very important and isn't rarely seen in other places. I must thank all the people who work hard day and night in this shop and I wish them success. By the way, I recommended highly the bread they are making that you cannot find anywhere else.

We’re regulars at Salmat Bakery and couldn’t be happier with the quality of their products and service.
Though it’s a small shop, it has everything you need for your Persian staples—nuts, tea, cheese, distilled waters, and of course, their delicious, fresh baked bread!
Our family’s favourite is the barbari, and we also love grabbing some halim, which makes for a great breakfast. I’ve also ordered their yazdi cakes, and they were just as tasty!
Overall, I absolutely love this business, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

I usually come here for quick grabs for groccery and fresh bread. Its really close to me and there is free parking.
The owner is the coolest person and is really friendly. He usually offers us fresh treats when we visit.
The store is not really spacious, however they have almost anything you might need for a quick grab from fresh bread to eggs and diary.
The best thing here, is they have an old school stove oven and bake fresh bread and bakery items.
Their cup cakes, aka, Cake Yazdi, is the best. I always get one when I visit.
They offer fresh bread which is usually baked the same day. They also have most of persian items you might need.
There is always nice persian music playing in the background which brings up a cool and authentic vibe to the store.
The parking is free as its located within the plaza.
Overall, I favor this local persian store as its close and the owner is super cool.

Extremely disappointing customer service, particularly from the owner, who shows an unprofessional attitude without reason. After reading through customer comments and the owner's responses, it's clear that he struggles to be polite or offer proper apologies for any dissatisfaction. The best course of action might be for people to stop giving him business, in the hope that he eventually learns how to treat customers with respect!

Yikes Any n nearly all Peraian products are absolutely terrible and extreme low quality and absolutely horrible flavours compared to Turkish. The only thing decent they offer is there bread types.. The canned and bottled product from Iran is absolutely terrible..such low standard. And Ash Reshteh omg I nearly thrown up.. Whey is horrendous. Believe me when you go to a Turkish market you will lose yourself with how advanced and absolutely ridiculously delicious and everything is sophisticated from A-Z. Go o URLA and you would be step food into Persian store or market for ANYTHING. From baked good to desserts sweets to pastries to find foods puts Iranian to shame. Never again. They are extemely behind and there product design n quality and sophisticated is 20yrs behind Turks.

Very Good Barbary bread ✅
terrible SANGAK
do not buy sangak here❌
I would give you 3.5 stars if it was possible
Either work on your sangak or forget about it and stick to Barbary which is really good

Best barbari bread in town and it's not even close! The pastries and sweets are also excellent, especially the original flavour Shirmal. Agha Mehdi is the kindest baker in Toronto. I love coming here!

Terrible customer service, a very bad attitude from the owner. I visited this store, and my experience is far from satisfactory. The store cheated on scaling and pricing. Eighty percent of items in the store don't have a price tag. They advertised Lighvan cheese at $8.99/lb, but it should be $19.82/kg. On the scale, they charged me $22.95/kg. Upon questioning the discrepancy, the owner responded with rudeness, stating bluntly that if I wasn't willing to pay the price, I could simply choose not to purchase it. A regrettable experience, to say the least.
