The worst restaurant I've ever been to.Waiting for more than 30 mins. The old lady only told you to wait. She and one customer who is eating in front of the food serving table and talking without covering other customer's food trays. I wait for another 15 mins. at that time no other customers' food was served. I asked to cancel my order and she gave me the money shorter than I had paid and just waved and asked me to leave. So rude!! What a horrible experience.!! I don't mind to wait but you have to let customers know!

I observed a lady in the restroom using the toilet; however, she didn't wash her hands with soap. Instead, she briefly ran water over her hands and returned to the shop. I believe it would be beneficial for individuals working in the food industry to maintain a higher standard of hygiene. After seeing that, definitely I am not likely trying this restaurant.

very disappointed. used to be my favourite soup. but now the quality have huge variation, the taste is totally different with before. They said that was because they forgot to put salt but i dont think it was the case.

Worst customer experience! Although the food was quite good and seemed authentic, the serving staff was so rude and mean if customers cannot speak in Korean. The lady in front of us was yelled at just because she asked for a take out bowl (in English). When our meal was ready, I asked for a spoon for the cold noodles. She tossed it to me rudely and said “Korean don’t use spoon”. How ridiculous! I am not asking for any exceptional experience from a food court but just some basic courtesy and respect!

The shopowner does not speak English well but the food is good. It does take an exceptionally long time regardless of the time of day so plan ahead.

Took forever to get food and the noodles weren’t good

Mediocre taste and long wait (30 min). The owner clearly prefers Korean-speaking customers. Not coming back.
My brother had the jamjatang, which he really enjoyed. Big portion too!

You know it’s good when there’s usually a line up even before closing time.Pros: Tasty stews (can run out pretty fast especially Gamjatang), huge portion, reasonable price (not cutting throat like downtown Korean food) and hardworking cashier lady 5 is solidly for the food.Cons: A bit of waiting time since there’s only 1 cook. Be patient when you choose to eat here during rush hour. Small size homemade kimchi on the side as well - everyone gets a small plate only. Ok for me.Overall I enjoy the food and the self serve aspect of Samgol and the other vendors in World on Yonge’s food court. Would stop by again !

Pretty decent food but super long wait. Overall if the speed was faster and less salt in the rib bone soup it would’ve been rated higher.

Excellent taste and portion size and imho much better than neighbouring Kim’s kitchen. Only issues are slow service when busy, likely a result of small kitchen size.
