Shater Abbas Restaurant in Thornhill is one of the best places for Persian food lovers. The kebabs are truly excellent — fresh meat, perfectly grilled, and full of authentic flavor. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are polite and friendly. Without a doubt, this was one of my best dining experiences in Thornhill.
I had a bad experience with the way they run their business. It is a way of reaping off. It is common that a serving of kebob koobideh comes with rice and two skewers of kebob. However theirs come with one skewer and you have to pay extra for the second one.

Me and my family have been coming to Shatter Abbas for so many years now. It’s the best Persian restaurant in all of the GTA. JUICY meat and chicken koobideh. Delicious Chucken leg kebab. Their rice is amazing. Especially the Baghali polo. Service is great. Always a smile in their face. Kind and helpful. Best Persian food in the whole GTA. Definitely recommend.

Terrible quality and falsely priced Waziri Kebab, $23, and when you go to pick it up, they charge you $36. It was the worst kebab with grilled chicken I've ever eaten in my life.

Not everyone agrees with me but best Koobideh kebab in Toronto, in my opinion. Complimentary soup before the main course is also most welcome. Not the most fancy presentation of the food but I care about quality more and this restaurant has it all.
