I've purchased bagels from just about every place in Thornhill except here. Never seen bagels this bad. The everything bagels looked a little better only because the seeds cover up the wrinkles and any burns. I'm just in shock right now as I've never seen bagels look like this.
Always fresh. Best Bagels. Nice staff

We love the salty poppy bagels and egg. Cannot get anything as good elsewhere in the city. Service is always quick. Staff are courteous. We will definitely return

I've been purchasing baked goods at the St Urbainl's location at Bathurst and Steeles and at their original location on Doncaster Avenue (long since closed) since they first opened. I used to be served by the owner but now the task is carried out by a friendly and efficient team of ladies, Some who have been there from day one. Best bagels outside of Montreal and their cranberry/lemon pound cake is delicious. Parking is bad sometimes but well worth the drive and the wait for a spot. The bagels freeze extremely well, but double bag them.
I went here today around noon. There's bagels in the front bins but she got mine from the side. When I got home I noticed they were not fresh at all and hard. Probably day old. Wasn't alot but it was a waste of money. Not happy. This does not look fresh.

Too bad baked bagels aren't made daily anymore. Sign of the times I guess.
It was a great establishment for years.
Some Folks expect unique quality ,at yesterday's prices... won't work folks?
Unfortunately,cant see it lasting long.
Waiting on condos??
Another good place, another place to remember, from my neighborhood ?

This place has gone downhill so much. Now, during the week, they sell "artisinal NYC bagels", instead of the wood fired Montreal bagels that made them famous. Just a standard bagel now Monday-Thursday and $8 a dozen? Better to wait for the weekend when they fire up the wood stoves and do proper Montreal bagels for $12.I cant help but wonder if this isn't a result of losing their client base, with frequent price increase coupled with discontinuation of the customer loyalty plan a couple of years ago. This place should be about volume. Brining Montreal bagels back down to a more reasonable price would bring the masses in. Will be sad to see this place go.
Love love love the Montreal-style bagels. The ladies who make and serve the bagels are a staple to this bakery.Very disappointed with the introduction of the New York Style bagels from Tuesday to Thursday. Do not like them at all.

Montreal bagels only available Friday-Sunday. Their New York Bagels are inexpensive, however have no taste. For New York Bagels go to Bubbies at Bathurst and Wilson.
Amazing bagels and staff
Went to the Bathurst St. location on Thursday to buy some Montreal Bagels. Found out they only have Montreal Bagels on Friday to Sunday. What they had were what they call New York Bagels. I bought a few as I was hungry. These were doughy and under cooked. Had to throw them away. If this is all you can sell then you should be ashamed.
The bagels are okay. But the customer service is beyond terrible.
Best bagels ever. Amazing choices, each one better than the previous. Vegan and sweet choices. Fast service. Also not pricey at all. So recommend.
