ge shoutout to Ivy at Sushi Que in the Promenade food court! She customized my Inari sushi just right — less rice, extra tempura bites, and spicy mayo (because life’s too short for boring sushi). Sushi Q at Promenade Mall is a hidden gem! Their sushi is always fresh – especially the Spicy Salmon and BBQ Salmon rolls, which are packed with flavor. The real star is the Tonkotsu ramen: rich, creamy broth, tender pork, and perfectly chewy noodles. Great quality, fast service, and perfect for a quick bite while shopping. Highly recommend!

Not impressed. First off sushi was overpriced for the quality, and the rice was unusually cold. Like it wasn’t awful, but the rice being that cold was off putting to say the least. Second thing was that there was barely any wasabi, and when I asked for more, the lady (I assume the owner) only put in a dime sized amount extra… I’ve never seen a sushi spot be so stingy with wasabi! Not to mention she only gave me 1 soy sauce packet lol! I know times are tough right now but seriously?! Then when I was paying, the lady walked away mid-transaction without a “thank you” “have a nice day” or even offering me a receipt. Finally, this was the real killer, I went to sit down near by, and just a minute after I go and sit down, they start telling people it’s 20% off end of day sale!!! Like I was one minute early and you couldn’t honour that?? Customer service is clearly not high on their priority list here. I gave this place a shot because I was in the area but I can confidently say I will not be returning.

I needed something to eat as I was browsing through the mall yesterday and this sushi q location was amazing. I came in for a late lunch and ordered a spicy California roll plus takoyaki. Not only the quality and taste but the hospitality from the workers: A++. Very kind and you can tell they put their 100%.

I go to this sushi place at least once a week for takeout, and it never disappoints. I usually order the udon, rolls, and takoyaki, and everything is always fresh, clean, and delicious. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. If you’re looking for a clean and reliable Japanese restaurant, I highly recommend this place!
