I went there with my parents and we had a wonderful experience! The place looks clean and super pretty inside, the dishes were delicious, and even if i ordered something simple like cucumber sushi the dish had a beautiful presentation put together. I definitely recommend going :)

This is a hidden gem. I didn't have any expectations, but the newly decorated interior was clean, the staff was friendly, and above all, the food was fresh and delicious. It was worth every penny. I will definitely come back with my family.

The food is great. Had their bulgogi dinner last time and it was good. And their salmon sushi is the best. I already ordered a lot of time here and I am always satisfied with the quality of their food. Always fresh and oh so yummy. 2 years ago I do not like sushi but Sushi Wa converted me to be a sushi lover. But the place is a little too small for me. Though they are renovating now I guess. Cannot wait to see the new place.Vegetarian options: My friend ordered a vegetarian sushi and she was satisfied with it. She even asked me to come back with her the next time we go out.

The salmon sushi was good but not the best I have had. The service was good but not excellent. There are 5 tables for indoor seating but restaurant atmosphere/ ambience did not stand out for me.Would consider visiting again if I am in the area.

Service and food are great. The sushi is fresh and well made. The ratio of fish to rice is perfect, only a small amount of rice for each piece of sushi with a generous portion of fish.Staff is friendly and accomdating. Will definitely return.

Volcano sushi was probably one of the best I have ever tried! The restaurant was very cozy with the nicest people

I am so surprised by how good and fresh the sushi was, I have been in that plaza so many times but never noticed the place. Went for lunch and had a family boat for two, it starts with extremely delicious miso soup and edamame..for starters we got yam tempura since I am allergic to shrimp, it was surprisingly tasty. You also get seaweed salad and a pop each. For the mains you get two rolls and an assortment of sashimi and nigiri, all of which are the chef's choice. You also get an option of bulgogi or teriyaki beef/ chicken..went for teriyaki beef which was tender and flavorful.Overall the meal was filling and delicious. Will recommend the spicy tuna roll and the salmon nigiri.Definitely going to visit again!

The place is very small I would say maybe for 5-6 tables, but for a little place like that they’re actually doing very well! Friendly and helpful staff, thank you for that. I will give another change during the day next time,as I visit the store 30 min before they closed !4 ⭐️ just because the vegetables weren’t fresh, avocado was all black by the time I got home !

This is our new go to sushi restaurant! The quality of the food is amazing, the cuts of fish are thick and juicy. Everything is cooked very well and presented in a nice way. We ordered the sushi boat for 2, and we had plenty of food. We couldn't not even finish it. It came out to approximately $60 for the 2 of us, which is a great deal. The appetizers we have tried have been great. In many restaurants, the miso soup tastes like it is made from an instant mix, but this one was very tasty and rich in flavour. The seaweed salad was refreshing. The tempura was quite nice and not overly oily. The chef greets you with a smile when you walk in, and the wait staff is very nice and prompt. On our first visit here, after receiving our appetizers, the waitress came by and apologized for the wait on our main courses, which was not very long, and offered us complimentary gyoza, which was delightful.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! Vegetarian rolls, vegetarian appetizers/main courses.Parking: Very large parking lot, plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It is accessible by wheelchair, but it is a small restaurant so it would be a bit of a tight squeeze

This is a great sushi restaurant. The salmon was fresh and tasted great. The portions were good. The flavour of the spicy salmon was good. Miso soup was an average miso soup, I care more about the sushi quality anyways when I'm at a sushi restaurant. I will come back to try the tuna and other options next. The place itself is a bit small and needs more ventilation, and that is my biggest complaint which isn't much of a negative. If you drink green tea, you have to ask for it, and we were given just a cup and not a pot until we asked for a pot.Come eat here if you live at all nearby

Spicy salmon, sushi pizza, noodle soup for the kids. All top quality. Only down side were the prices. Not sure if inflation but the prices were higher than most other sushi restaurants. But quality was top notch.

We love this place!Thank you, guys! The best Japanese restaurant in our neighbourhood for sure.We always have ordered take-out, and today, we got amazed at how nice the food can look. We love spicy crispy. We came late at 8:50 pm, right before closing, but got a chance to eat.
