The Korean food at Tao Tao Restaurant was okay :/

The Bokeum Jjajang which is the Korean Spicy Black Bean Noodles with Seafood and Pork that is stir fried was okay. The noodles had great texture and the black bean sauce was good with a nice spice kick.

The Tangsuyoulk which is deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce was okay. The deep fried pork was crispy and meaty but was missing savouriness. The sweet and sour sauce was good.

Ordered the Jajangmyeon and this is one of those places where you really can’t go wrong! Good flavour, great portions and very affordable! $10 for a big bowl of tasty noodles? In this economy??? I’m all here for it! Come by and check this place out.

It would be hard to find quality Korean Chinese food at this price in Toronto. You wouldn't have too many choices, but each one of their menu is very close to traditional korean chinese food you can only find in Korea.

Continuing our search for Korean Chinese food, and we stumbled upon this spot😌Haemul Jjampong was BOMB, it’s got chewy Noodles soaking up the flavourful Broth was flavourful (lacking some Wok Hey IMO), with a ton of Seafood- Mussels, Shrimps, Squid, Clam and even CRAB!! Jjajang Myun had the same Noodles but topped with a delicious Black Bean Sauce, very satisfying slurping it away!

Recently, I mainly went to Gaeldaeng and Baektaeng for Chinese food, but I ordered Jjajang Jjamppong with Wolyeong and the two of us ate it. Jjajm is a very basic meal, and I was worried because there was no place that made it properly, but it was so delicious. It was neat, clean, light, and very delicious. While Baekttaeng tasted like the popular kids' taste these days and Galtaeng tasted like the best restaurant in the neighborhood, Taotao was the most Korean, a little more luxurious, and very light and delicious. Berry was good.

The waiting time was a bit long, I think it was a little over 20 minutes.

The only advantage of World on Young is that it is close to TaoTao haha. It is that delicious. I was disappointed because the Jjajangmyeon at another Korean Chinese restaurant didn't really taste anything, but I tried it here and always order here when I want Chinese food.

I've been going to this restaurant occasionally for the past two years, and every time I go, I order black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork. The portions are plentiful and very delicious!

This has been one of the worst food experience in a while, especially the worst Korean food experience ever. The chicken dish that came to $28 dollars was mostly just batter and over salty. Save yourself time and money on this dish.

I LOVELOVELOVE their black bean rice cake dish, it was only 12.99 and tasted like heaven on earth. Absolutely scrumptious. This was one of the, nay, the best korean chinese restaurant I've EVER visited. It's in a good court, the food is worth the price, and it is all so unbelievably tasty. I really like the owner and they've always been friendly when I've visited, no matter how busy they were. The wait times are very short, and it felt like I instantly got my food right after I ordered and the quality was amazing. If you're in Toronto, I'd definitely recommend visiting(SO GOOD).

The basic menu items like Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong are really delicious. To be honest, when I eat Jjajangmyeon in Beijing or other places, there are many times when it doesn't really taste anything, but I liked how the quality is always maintained here!
