9 small pieces of chewy overcooked calamari for $15.99 that didn't even fill their small basket. We ordered snow crab, but it came out very garlicky and buttery with hints of canjun spices we weren't expecting. Where's the crab flavor? Our meal came with half a corn and half a big potato. The sausage was sliced up; I'm not sure if it was the full sausage. Yes, I have an issue with the quantity and quality of their food. There were no issues with the steam broccoli. I didn't enjoy eating out of a plastic bag. I wish we had Joe's Crab Shack here.

Had an amazing New Year’s celebration at Captain's Boil with my family! The atmosphere was lively, and the food was absolutely delicious. The king crab was definitely the highlight of the meal. Our server, Nikka, made the experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. 👌Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great seafood and a welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

We ordered the Matey’s platter with mussels and headless shrimp in medium spice Captain’s Boil sauce, along with sausage, corn, potatoes, fried rice, and a shrimp basket. The seafood was fresh and flavorful (4/5), but the sides were underwhelming (2/5). The shrimp basket and fried rice were decent but not exceptional (3.5/5).

The portions were generous—it was a good amount of food for my girlfriend and me, and we left with no room in our stomachs. Mind you, we’re both big eaters, so that says a lot! This platter could easily feed three people while still leaving room for dessert elsewhere (which is perfect since they don’t seem to offer dessert here).

Pricing was reasonable for a seafood boil spot, considering the portions and the variability of seafood market prices. The quiet ambiance was nice, though service was slower as there was only one server, which is understandable.

Overall Rating: 3.7/5. I’d come back for the mussels and shrimp but skip the sausage and corn.
