2 out of 4 orderd food was good but the other 2 was over cooked/ fried. Fries was burnt and seemed old.

We are regular customers and have always enjoyed the food. However, the last 3 times we’ve had a waitress that has been less than welcoming and often forgets part of our order. This evening we walked in, and I guess they were a bit busy (no worries) and her response “we got no tables if you want to wait that’s fine go ahead and wait” so then I asked “ok, no worries apprx. How long is the wait?” …to which she responded “I don’t know and I’m too busy to know and even once you get a table you’ll probably still have to wait a while to even get served” …everything by the way done in a very rude and dismissive tone. On our last visit, same waitress, My mom order the beef deep and the aus jus came out 15 minutes later, we were obviously disappointed and the waitress said “well if you don’t want it, I’ll just take the sauce back” (my mom also wasn’t allowed to add mayo to her sandwich lol) …well no we don’t want it after waiting almost 6-7 minutes she decided to just eat her sandwich without the aus jus. Just really poor service, everytime she’s served us it’s just always been uncomfortable. I probably won’t be going back mostly because of her.

My boyfriend and l went to this location only to say how very disappointed we were. He ordered sunny side up eggs and home fries only to receive greasy potatoes and tiny cold eggs. I ordered avocado toast with scrambled eggs and a small fruit salad. I received a very small half slice of toast with very little avocado spread . My scrambled eggs were cold and had a rubbery texture. So l basically just ate the fruit salad. The waitress was very pleasant but the food was very disappointing. ☹️☹️☹️

Loved our visit to Wimpy’s Diner in Thornhill! The 1950’s vibe is awesome, the portions are huge, and the food is absolutely delicious. The coffee hit the spot too. Our server Carla went above and beyond, She is so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back, and next time the whole family is coming with us!

This was our 3rd time here. Not from the area but was at a lacrosse tournment about 20 minutes away, food and staff was so great that it was a worth while drive. Thank you.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, loved the fact that fries were made out of actual potatoes, food is excellent back in the day style. Kids got fun coloring pages and crayons while waited for food, super friendly and fun atmosphere.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Used to shove fries into my grilled cheese like a little gremlin — shout out to Dino for never judging me.
The vibes haven’t changed, and that’s a good thing. Still feels like home. Still hits like it used to.

Breakfast? Unreasonably comforting.
Portions? Built to feed a teenager on leg day.
Wimpy’s will always be that spot for me. Consistent, classic, and full of memories (and bacon).
