I hope today is just a random exception. The quality is low and tasteless. An unexpected, unpleasant surprise.

One of the most fresh sushi places in town. I am not a vegetarian but I definitely recommend that you try all of their veggie rolls with shiitake mushroom and yam.

Had visited the restaurant on Friday evening at 6pm, ordered a few rolls and a sushi combo; they seemed to be already pre-made in the afternoon, rice wrappings were not as fresh as one would expected.

Quality had deteriorated substantially, however, the price went the opposite direction.

Good sushi. Had their special 9 item platter (pics below) and some aburi sushi and a special roll. Pretty good. Sashimi was fresh. Could improve the sushi rice, not quite there yet. Price is decent compared to others.

Tried Popular Maki Set, I don’t think it comes close to good places.
Service was good but I have had way better sushi in half of what I paid there.
Seaweed paper was chewy and sushi was not great and flavourful.

One of the better sushi options north of Toronto. Great sashimi and sushi options, thoughtfully made and delicious. Priced relatively decent for the quality of food and service you get. Comparable to some sushi restaurants downtown (Yuzu No Hana and the likes). Not an ayce, and a spot that is meant for you to enjoy quality over quantity. This is a good option that is in between an ayce and omakase. Would come back if around the area.
