REF'S Pizza & Ice cream - THORNTON

I ordered a lg Pepperoni, and a large cheese, went to pick them up in 20 mins (as stated on the phone) when I got there they claimed they had a order of 6 pizzas cancel their order so they gave us the cheese and pepperoni upsized to party at no extra charge! But it seemed that this pizza was old, hard and cold, they were trying to save cost by serving me an old canceled order. Very disappointing.

Edit after response; unfortunately not the case, I’m a few mins from the store, im disappointed to see such a response from refs, when the order I made was replaced with old pizza I guess yes, I was forced. yes I give out bad reviews when warranted, this response in fact shows zero accountability, not even some wanting to rectify a bad experience. To bad.

I had a great experience tonight! I ordered a pizza for pick up and when I came to pick it up the two employees in there were a young girl and boy they were very apologetic because our pizza was stuck and burnt and they had already started a new one for us. They made it fast and it was SO GOOD!! They provided great customer service and pizza I wish I knew there names! Will definitely be back

My family and I visited REF’S after visiting a local farm stand. This was the perfect spot to come for food. It reminded me of taking road trips as a child. As a hockey fan, I really loved the setup of the shop. We ordered the pickle puck pizza, a gluten free veggie pizza, and a pepperoni slice, all were delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Shoutout to the young employees working there for their awesome service, I wish we had gotten their names so I could thank them personally.

Easy to get to, family friendly and a good Community spot for this town. You will definitely see me back here if I am for some reason driving along the 27 again. 🛣️🍕

Came in for a snack Sunday June 22, 2025 3pm
There was a nice young lady working.. We ordered 2 orders of the Garlic Pucks. She said 10mins and it was ready in 10mins..Boy!! Those were some of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. All 3 of my kids said it was worth the hour drive! This is my 2nd time coming here and today I made the effort to drive from Toronto to Thornton. I would drive up again for those Garlic Pucks..100% would recommend REFS PIZZA..

The pizza was thick, had lots of toppings, the sauce was tasty. Pizza was hot and ever so delicious 😋

Amazing pizza. The BBQ chicken pizza was sooo good. So was the cheeseburger pizza. Have ordered from here a few times. Always fresh and delicious. Our new favorite for sure!!

I made an error in my order ( wanted to pick up from Thornton and accidentally ordered from Stroud ) when they expected me to drive from Thornton to Stroud I said I will buy some slices here and I was refused service. Disgusting response...I promise to tell everyone I ever meet never to do business with this place because of how I was mistreated !!!

Best Pizza we have had in a while. Had the taco Domi omg so good. My husband's first visit and he can't stop commenting how good it was!
