THE PARLOUR ICE CREAM (GREEN home)

It’s always been my go to spot for whenever I need ice cream for me or whenever my cousins are over! It’s always amazing and never has the frost on it ever, and they always have the best flavours and my favourite has always been Monster Cookie or Strawberry Cheese Cake.

The owners are amazing!!! I stop by anytime I'm in the area or driving anywhere remotely close by! Delicious food and wonderful people! Thanks for keeping my belly happy!

Amazing ice cream place, super friendly and professional staff as well and efficient ! My mother has an allergy and they went more than above and beyond for my mom to know which ice cream was safe for her by reading each labels ! Thank you so much for everything, we will keep coming back, it's our go to ice cream place.

I’m just going to share exactly what happened today and let you judge for yourself.

We drove half an hour to try this ice cream shop. I told the girl at the front that it was our first time there and asked her to guide us. She kindly explained the options. While she was talking, another girl who was behind her at the register looked at me and laughed. I wasn’t sure what that meant, so I thought maybe she was just being nice, and I gave a polite smile back.

As I was looking up at the menu, I noticed the same girl laughing again—but this time it was clearly a mocking laugh. I glanced at her but stayed quiet. When I looked back at the menu, she did it again, the same mocking way. I finally asked the cashier, “Is she okay?” At that point, the girl stood up, still laughing in that same mocking manner, and walked away.

I even double-checked with the person I was with to make sure it wasn’t just me imagining things. They confirmed it felt like mockery too.

We got back in the car without saying another word and left.

The ice cream? I’ll never know—because after that kind of treatment, there’s no way I’d ever buy anything from a place like this.

I’ve passed by this place many times dreaming about trying their ice cream. Finally did and I have no regrets. Delicious ice cream, love the huge amount of flavour options. They’ve even got some gluten free and dairy free options as well. 10 out of 10 for flavour and customer service.

Always good ice-cream and prices

I was not impressed at how small the ice cream was. I ordered a small ice cream in a cup and my husband ordered a small ice cream cone. He had more ice cream on his cone then I had in my cup? I will not be back. If you go make sure you order on a cone you will get more then the tiny cups they give you.

Hidden gem on Hwy. 27! Ice cream from Central Smith is very tasty and the prices are the cheapest around. I paid only $7.50 for a delicious, creamy milkshake which is almost $10 at the other parlours in the Kawartha's 😉. Service is always quick, efficient and pleasant. Well worth the drive to Thornton!!

decent ice cream place looks like a destination spot
the actual cream was okay but there are better options i have been to in Alliston however this place is always busy (sometimes with very long lines) so i know people do like going here. i would not go back.
