Best Sushi in Barrie! Was not impressed with all the other sushi places in Barrie, so we decided to try this place. The quality of their sushi is so good! So fresh, huge size and absolutely delicious! The staff is so nice too! The best part is I got the food in a PLASTIC BAG!!! 💙 Definitely our new go too from now on.

It genuinely does not matter what you order. From sashimi to nigiri to rolls, everything is packed with flavor and freshness. The fish is outstanding. Clean, rich, and clearly high quality. The balance and consistency put this among the best sushi I’ve had anywhere.
This is the kind of sushi that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite.
The owners and staff are warm and welcoming, and the service is excellent without ever taking focus away from the food.
If you’re looking for truly great sushi with fresh fish and incredible quality, do not miss this place.

We are huge fans of Sushi chef!!! Not only do we love their quick but meticulous service, they also are fantastic with allergies (including gluten free/ celiac ) which is a huge plus for our family. We have ordered probabaly over 50 times from here as we are locals and have NEVER had an item missing from our order.

Even though they weren’t able to pick up my calls for a reservation, they tried their best to accommodate us and my kids with an extra dish and icecream including great atmosphere. The fish was very fresh and nicely fermented, but the rice was far too SWEET. If they could reduce the sugar it would be much better.
