What an amazing take out experience. We moved close by. We were celebrating my birthday we ordered a few combination platters. They were so fresh delicious and beautifully prepared. The rolls incredible wasabi spicy the way it should be 👍thank you Sushi Chef for a wonderful experience. Everyone is so kind. And helpful. Thank you for the spring rolls on the house and a great 1st time experience. We will be back.

this used to be my favourite sushi place until today. I was trying for 2 and a half hours to call to place an order, i got hung up on twice, put on hold twice and it got to the point I had to drive 25 min to go place an order. Once i got there I was told they would not make me 2 rolls as they were ‘too busy’. I come to this place every weekend, the food is amazing, but to be hung up on that many times with 25 outgoing calls in 2.5 hours trying to place an order then refusing to make TWO rolls is crazy to me. Unfortunately, they have lost a customer due to their poor poor customer service.

The Sushi Chef has been and continues to be the best place in the south Simcoe area to get sushi, top notch, put them against the high priced downtown Toronto places too!
Excellent service and great food with good portion sizes. I have celiac, and they had gluten free soy sauce and very kind, knowledgable staff. You should bring your own wasabi since theirs contains gluten, but for everything else they were able to offer alternatives. There was clean private bathrooms and the toilet had a lid (+has a baby changing station).
I had the green tea, miso soup, salad with mustard sauce, seaweed salad app, we split the 53 piece sashimi + sushi boat with subs, and I had the mango ice cream which was sweet and delicious, my friend had the green tea ice cream which tasted like matcha.
This is a great place to visit if you just hit the slopes. I recommend this place if you need to accommodate a gluten free diet.
