Beautiful scenery & presentation. Our reservation was for 11 am not realizing breakfast wouldn't not be available. Lunch menu was adequate. We asked for more water and eventually had to go get it from the bar. We asked for more ketchup that didn't ever arrive. Overall great experience but more attention to detail needed.

Buffet tables ran out food and were either not restocked in a timely fashion or not restocked at all. No salads were available, no cheese tray, no seafood/salmon, no bread or butter, no crab, no sirloin roast beef, pork belly roast was nothing but fat and I mean nothing but fat. The food that was available was disappointing in quality. Our reservation was for 7:30 and our table was approached at 8:45 and told the buffet tables were being dismantled at 9 so we better finish up. The dessert options were well picked over and not restocked. They ran out of coffee and did not refill. The service was very poor, slow and understaffed. We had to bus our own table, as did the table next to us. Staff did not clear plates. We had to carry our used dishes and leave them on the bar. We went home hungry. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience.

We go there frequently and the food is very good. My only concern is that they don't offer any gluten free options for dessert which is very unusual now in most restaurants.

The staff at the podium had no clue what was going on. They didn't communicate to the lobby full of guests what was happening. They just stood there and smiled. There was only one person bringing customers to their tables, which took some time. The buffet had multiple items missing when we finally got through the line, which were not replenished (home fries, bacon, mussels, crab). A colleague of mine had called ahead and paid for a dessert to be at my table. None of the staff knew anything about it. I spoke with my server, bartender and then the manager who told me my colleague called to ask wish me a Merry Christmas. The bottle of Prosecco we ordered was room temperature. Our server shamed us for ordering a second bottle of Prosecco, which was a different brand and warm as well. The server said ‘even the bartender can't believe you ordered a second bottle'. We jokingly said ‘I guess we shouldn't order a third' to which they laughed and ‘no'. The food we were able to put on our plates was good. However for $65 with little to no replenishments is disappointing.

Planned a get together with 10 friends for Sat Dec 13 .. Restaurant was busy .. not a lot of staff .. our reservation was for 6:30. Server came and took drink orders. Might be a wait only 1 bartender .. she told us about specials .. ok things are going well .. until they don’t have enough of the special. Long story short .. food came AFTER 8 pm 1 order was completely wrong and the right one had to be prepared !! ( poor guy waited almost 30 minutes)2 orders were completely cold ! These were sent back appetite gone for those 2 😕… now the bills come OMG more mix ups. Things on bills that no one ordered! Come on get it together !! It’ll be a long long while before we go back

Went to Anchor & Ore for my birthday dinner and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the onion rings are next level and the brussel sprouts were amazing. Thank you to Nithin and Jane we will definitely will be coming back again!

An under used Thunder Bay gem. I love the quiet ambiance but I also worry about longevity when there are always tables empty. Food is always memorable and service attentive.
Amazing place to enjoy a nice meal. Our dinner was delicious, the ambiance is so relaxing, staff couldn't be any better and our view was gorgeous. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing time at yiur establishment - we'd definitely highly recommend and we will definitely be back

We loved the view, the food and the service but would like to have been forewarned that the kitchen closed at 1:30, giving us only 30 minutes to settle in, order and eat our meals. There was no time for coffee or dessert. Also the staff were cleaning the floors from the time we got there. Not a good presentation for what should be an upscale dining experience

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. Drinks are a little pricy and it was loud at times, but otherwise, was solid.
