“Went to the Caribou Restaurant & Wine Bar tonight to try their new midweek trattoria menu. It was well worth the trip. The flatbread was delicious, the ceasar salad was great as usual and our entrees were outstanding. When we arrived, I asked our server (Fabulous server) if I could have a little taste of the cheese sauce that was to be served with the gnocchi since the menu indicated there was Gorgonzola in it and I don't care for it. To my surprise he told me the dishes were made to order and I could order it without the Gorgonzola. I did just that and it was so good. The sauce was really delicious and the gnocchi was light and pillowy. We finished off with Nutella semifredo which we were really too full to eat. This price fixe menu was between $38 and $42 for full size four course servings (2 choices for salad and desert and Four choices for entree). Absolutely delicious and can't beat the price!”

“I have ordered from here probably over 30 times and the food has consistently been amazing. I order off skip the dishes and even with the wait time for the delivery it is always worth it because the food is so well made. Personally I recommend the oxtail it's my favourite thing on the menu. I think it's the best food to order in Thunder Bay and I can't recommend it enough. 5 stars. Try it out!”

“From owning my own to my first time taking my wife and son to Tilted Turret I have to say awesome time. I am also looking for a new pin to add and Jurassic Park was a lot of fun. Later in the night it was a little crowded if playing a couple players at one but great atmosphere and the nachos and cinnamon treats (Flippers) were really nice and tasty. Will definitely play the pins and have a couple Caesars too.Our waitress almost looked like Elvira didn't catch her name cool look, but being on the second floor she had our food and drinks promptly to our table. A pleasure to a customer and deserved a nice tip next time.To the owners great atmosphere, fun games for everyone. It was a little crowded for me later in the night and I couldn't hear the games that you needed to do but the wife loves to cuddle so it was alright lol. I called 2 days ahead for a 7 person reservation on a busy night, they called me back and were able to fit us in at our requested time! And they put us at a table in the “cabin” at the back so it was quiet and felt like a private dining room. The decor is over the top and perfect, there is so much to look at. Our server was awesome. The food was to die for. I could have had a meal of just the fresh buns and garlic butter. I had the beef dip sandwich and it was excellent, it came with a starter of soup (i skipped the salad but it also comes with that). I also had a sangria (not on the drink menu but they made it!) and it was lovely. I can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu. Prices are very reasonable and your starters are included.”

And the coffee was made with cream. So completely backwards. I go in to complain about it and I get NASTY looks from the staff like I WAS the one who did wrong. Nope sir... The bathrooms here are this side of the town's new safe injection site. A volunteer run, community driven coffee shop focused on giving back — and with out-of-this-world coffee and baked goods, all housed in a beautiful church. I love the mission and how this has been brought to life. I came in for coffee, but left wanting to know so much more about the Urban Abbey and the community served (their website is full of info).But let’s get to the experience: I went two days in a row while visiting Thunder Bag. Both days I was greeted by genuinely kind and friendly staff. They made incredible drinks, had great suggestions for my 14 year old son, and we somehow arrived right as fresh baked goods were coming out of the oven. So good. I drink my coffee black and avoid fruity undertones. Their medium roast coffee was smooth and perfect.The space feels welcoming, cozy, and has beautiful artwork and stained glass windows. I love the pews as benches and the tables that mimic the shape of the windows. I appreciate the mix of new/modern with treasured/lived in. It’s perfection.I can’t wait to go back.”

Had a strawberry banana Julius with a fresh banana added, excellent as always, I'm a little upset the serving size has decreased substantially and the price is the same. A large is so much smaller than it used to be, I haven't been there in about 2 years now and last time I was there they were still the normal large size. Also had a dbl burger and i was surprised it was pretty good. (Way better than McDs, which doesn't say much lol). 5 star is for the Julius!”

I ordered large wonton soup and chicken fried rice and both dishes were prepared to perfection.
