Parking: There are so many barriers when it comes to parking at the location where Windy Shores Cafe is located because 1) I need a phone to pay for parking 2) I need to pay to access a public park by vehicle 3) I need to pay for a phone plan to have data to pay for my parking metre. It’s not the business’s fault, however it is clear they’re losing a significant amount of customers and revenue because of parking.“

“I always use the drive thru and usually only order a tea but I only go in the day because in the evening it doesn’t taste as good. Sometimes I’ll go alone or with my kids they usually get a sandwich or something else. My youngest gets thé chocolate milk and a cookie I love the woman that’s always on the till during the day with the glasses I’m always giving her a tip because she’s always so nice. If I’m with my pug she always asks if she can have a treat and if I’m alone she always is like you’re alone today. Super friendly staff person. Wish I knew her name.“

“Delicious address on a beautiful street in Thunder Bay.
We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day at lunchtime!
The Bagels are very good, special mention for the Bruschetta-style bagel which had very appreciable Mediterranean flavors after 3 months of traveling in Canada!
On top of that, the welcome is charming!
Only point: address quite poorly indicated on the road and not very visible, so you have to search a little.“

“This Robins coffee location has a quaint old charm to it like it is stuck in the 80s.
The coffee is great for a change from Tim Hortons or Starbucks.
The donuts are amazing!!!!
They have a blueberry tea biscuit there and it’s huge! So moist and filled with real blueberries. You get a fantastic biscuit for a very good price!!!!
The staff are very friendly and are like watching a rapid or of the Roseanne show.
If you want to support a good wholesome family business here it is!!! Without these gems of the north we would be stuck living in a barista world of overpriced and tacky coffee drinks.

The team here is truly exceptional, so warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special shoutout to the manager, Gauri, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and happy. Her kindness, attention to detail, and the way she runs the store really stood out to me.

“To be honest the people here blew my mind in a good way. The ONLY Tim's in thunder bay that is friendly and courteous on the speaker. I leave there with a huge smile on my face every time.
They have made my coffee wrong twice but they are FAST at taking your order and other wise very accurate.

I would HIGHLY recommend this Tim's to family and friends and I cant wait to go back and order my next breakfast meal.

“At the regional hospital, many of the people grabbing a coffee or something quick to eat are dealing with emotions that are new to them. That segment of the public should experience a little more care and understanding. They most certainly do not need to speak repeatedly their order, nor endure getting that order wrong.

Many coffee shops struggle with this sloppy customer service and I am exceptionally happy to report that the team at this Robin's are EXEMPLARY!!!! After 24 weeks of my treatment and testing, ordering a quick breakfast and coffee is a type of relief. I must repeat that this is a team of fantastic people, but the team captain must be Charlene. After all these weeks, I have come to experience her expertise. Yes! Expertise!! Business like, of course, but always in a great mood.

If she is not a trainer of new employees, she should be. It says something to feel special, and have your order done quickly and accurately. Some people are just great at their jobs, and I can not say enough about their team captain.

BUT, I am not saying I am displeased with anyone there, but Charlene leads that pack of stellar service. Perhaps she is inspires others to perfect their customer service prowess, for they are all good.

So, when coming to the regional hospital, forget the drive through elsewhere. Come directly and sample good coffee with great service.“
