Parking: There are so many barriers when it comes to parking at the location where Windy Shores Cafe is located because 1) I need a phone to pay for parking 2) I need to pay to access a public park by vehicle 3) I need to pay for a phone plan to have data to pay for my parking metre. It’s not the business’s fault, however it is clear they’re losing a significant amount of customers and revenue because of parking.“

“Delicious address on a beautiful street in Thunder Bay.
We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day at lunchtime!
The Bagels are very good, special mention for the Bruschetta-style bagel which had very appreciable Mediterranean flavors after 3 months of traveling in Canada!
On top of that, the welcome is charming!
Only point: address quite poorly indicated on the road and not very visible, so you have to search a little.“

“I always use the drive thru and usually only order a tea but I only go in the day because in the evening it doesn’t taste as good. Sometimes I’ll go alone or with my kids they usually get a sandwich or something else. My youngest gets thé chocolate milk and a cookie I love the woman that’s always on the till during the day with the glasses I’m always giving her a tip because she’s always so nice. If I’m with my pug she always asks if she can have a treat and if I’m alone she always is like you’re alone today. Super friendly staff person. Wish I knew her name.“

“We had a great experience at this Tim Hortons drive thru, thanks to Shovit! (Could be little wrong for the name) He was incredibly friendly, energetic, and welcoming. What really stood out was that he remembered us from our last visit, which made us feel genuinely valued as customers. He also made sure we got fresh steeped tea, and you could really taste the difference. Excellent customer service like this is hard to find, and Shovit made our visit a great one. Thank you for going the extra mile!👍👍“

“I love my experience at this Tim hortons! I always order the same thing, iced coffee with sweetener instead of cane sugar. Sometimes a sandwich or soup. They always get it right, and sometimes they’ll have it ready for me while I’m still waiting in line. Really makes my day as a mall worker much easier. 10/10, my favourite Tim’s in town.“

“Come here in the afternoons almost every day. Staff is really friendly; knows my order (even the new ones). Not much to complain about, except for one or two people who harass for money, but the cops come somewhat quickly depending on the day, so it doesn't take out too much of the experience of coming here like I have for years.“

“I saw a review saying Navdeep was rude, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I’ve actually driven from another part of the city because her service is always so friendly and professional. She’s polite, respectful, and always greets customers with a smile. She handles busy times really well, stays calm under pressure, and makes sure orders are right. Honestly, she’s one of the best supervisors there—very hardworking and dedicated. It doesn’t seem fair to spread false information about her.“

“At the regional hospital, many of the people grabbing a coffee or something quick to eat are dealing with emotions that are new to them. That segment of the public should experience a little more care and understanding. They most certainly do not need to speak repeatedly their order, nor endure getting that order wrong.

Many coffee shops struggle with this sloppy customer service and I am exceptionally happy to report that the team at this Robin's are EXEMPLARY!!!! After 24 weeks of my treatment and testing, ordering a quick breakfast and coffee is a type of relief. I must repeat that this is a team of fantastic people, but the team captain must be Charlene. After all these weeks, I have come to experience her expertise. Yes! Expertise!! Business like, of course, but always in a great mood.

If she is not a trainer of new employees, she should be. It says something to feel special, and have your order done quickly and accurately. Some people are just great at their jobs, and I can not say enough about their team captain.

BUT, I am not saying I am displeased with anyone there, but Charlene leads that pack of stellar service. Perhaps she is inspires others to perfect their customer service prowess, for they are all good.

So, when coming to the regional hospital, forget the drive through elsewhere. Come directly and sample good coffee with great service.“
