31 Best Pizza Restaurants in Thunder Bay

“Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten and everyone working was lovely in explaining how their counter service worked. I’ve only been in once so far but I will most certainly be back soon! I went on a weekday night and the place was packed and definitely loud as a result but for absolutely good reason. Both their side and the adjoining brewery are decorated beautifully and look clean as well.“

“Absolutely the best in Thunder Bay“

“Service and food was very tasty, On line ordering was, very user friend;y. coupons on line were easy to apply. My only concern was that I thought I added a 20% tip for the delivery person but in the end I didn't see it on the receipt, I feel bad if in fact he didn't recieve a little something for his excellent service.“

“I ordered chocolate lava cakes and fell asleep and the driver showed up and went back cuz i did not answer any call then i made them a call apologizing that i fell asleep sorry and the guy on call was so nice very welcoming guy idk his name but he knows how to talk and was willing to send my order again i called around 1:35 am very nice guy deserves a raise!!“

“Best pizza in Thunder Bay!! Always has been, always will be!
The crust sets it apart, no other comes close to Stan’s!
Nicest pizza shop owner as well, she is always working to serve her customers the best!
Call ahead and pick up your amazing pizza, simple.“

“Called in order for pick up, said it would be ready in 30 minutes, arrived said they had no record of my call... discovered location was off on my phone and I ordered pizza from a place in Mississauga. Lady working made us a pizza and explained what she was doing to my four year old daughter the whole process while I called Mississauga Angelos and apologized for being an idiot.

5 stars best pizza and service in town.“

“Po's Variety is a classic spot to go late at night. They offer pizza, as well as some Asian dishes and some fried foods. The pork skewers are amazing, and Burmese noodles and pad woon sen are delicious. The wontons and egg rolls are also a staple of every meal from here. They offer delivery far and wide across Thunder Bay, but whenever I'm craving a pork skewer I usually end up going there by car. All in all great place. A tried and true staple of the city.“

“Tried the panzo’s for the first time today and they were excellent! Highly recommend you give them a try“

“Love the staff, very friendly place to bring the kids too.“

“I’m so grateful for this place, so I’ve been travelling for 5 days and just wanted a good pizza. I showed up on a Monday didn’t see that they were closed for Mondays, however when I pulled in I thought something was weird… they looked closed, so I called the number in the web page. I can’t express how grateful I am , she made me a pizza even though they were closed. It was amazing pizza, great sauce, thin crust and the perfection for cheese to pepperoni. She was so kind, I mean she could’ve said sorry I. Any help you, however now I will recommend Lappe Mountain pizza for anyone travelling though, ( not Mondays😁).
Thank you for making my pizza 🍕. Always grateful“

“Their pizza is great! Sometimes the crust is kind of gummy but it’s made with love. The staff are great. However, for the past few months I have noticed that they never seem to answer their phone. It’s near impossible to place an order by phone during peak business hours. Might it be time to expand the business and modernize it? I guess that’s what gives it that personal touch, being a smaller pizzeria, but it sure would be nice to place an order by phone. Otherwise, keep up the good work! Please just give it some thought to maybe expand your business’s ability to take more orders during peak times. Thank you :D“

“Our family has ordered from Eat Local for many years, we’ve never had any issues. We get exactly what we ordered and the delivery is always when they say it will arrive. If they are busy they’ll let you know. The manager is very friendly and if there are issues he’ll let you know 😁⭐⭐⭐“

“I loved the experience of the NYS. I am a delivery driver that delivers to them. Staff are wonderful group of people. The menu's are very interesting. Especially for today's Special of pulled pork,Dang was it GOOD!!!. This is my 1st time coming to this place.

“Ordered medium size grilled chicken rustico pizza. It's been ages since I have had a pizza from pizza hut. Since I was visiting Thunder Bay I decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed, it was delicious with large chunks of chicken and soft crust the way I like it - easy to chew. It was a walk in order and ready in 15 minutes.“

“Hey Monica! I just finished eating that pizza you made at work and wow—you completely crushed it! Seriously, hands down the best Pizza Hut pizza I’ve had in a long time. The crust was perfect and the toppings were on point. You’ve got serious talent in that kitchen! Thank you so much!“

“I am not usually a Domino’s person or even a review person but, this location needs a shoutout. My husband picked Domino’s the last couple of times because of their coupons We were both so happy we did. The pizza was so good!! Super tasty and hot! I am now a Domino’s person. The staff were also so friendly!! The best pizza chain in Thunder Bay hands down!!“

“Good stuff ordering easy, friendly service at our new store in kenora, Ontario...“

“Good for you for standing up for what you believe and welcoming EVERYONE regardless of their Vaxx status. This just has to END!“

“We go extremely regularly. Everything is great!“

“Always enjoy our experiences here. The team is very proactive, organized, and welcoming. Spot-light on Silvi who cares enough to remember our usual order; makes us feel special, not just like customers. Thanks for your hard work, everyone~“

“We bought 2 XL Pizzas today, and as usual we had no idea what to buy… This amazing lady “Perry” was so patient with us and helped us with our order in the best possible way. She was amazingly suggestive. And as always the best customer experience provided by this outlet. Kudos this outlet and this Lady.“

“Pizza Hut can be very good or very bad depending on which staff are on shift. The last 2 medium pizza's that I ordered were meat lovers and a vegetarian. Meat lovers had little toppings and was burned and the veggie pizza tasted extra salty and bland. For a cost $75.00 I do not recommend this Pizza. However, when specials are offered such as 2 large for $30, and/or the Wednesday Canadian 1/2 price deal, I dont think you can beat these guys for quality pizza. The positive from my experience is that the service is super efficient and professional. 2 thumbs up 👍 👍 4 of 5“

“Pizza Hut never disappoints! I tried their veg pizza with pan dough soft, well-cooked, and full of flavor. The manager was polite, and the cook did an excellent job with great care. As a vegetarian, I loved the fresh veggies and quality options. Great food, great service and highly recommended! 🍕“

“Good stuff ordering easy, friendly service at our new store in kenora, Ontario...“

“The atmosphere got its stars from the southern fried wings. They're so good, you know the atmophere is bone standard: every-towns-best-joint-modern, < inspired by the inside of an abandoned motel on the outskirts of a 400 person mining town. Thats how you identify the best place for wings in any town though.

so why did google ask a question like how's how's the atmosphere? Might as well ask about the single malt selection at petro-canada, if somebody asks you that, check if they can raise both arms above their head...“

“I just tried the chicken biriyani for the first time and the dish is soooo good! I’m so happy with my order, love the naan, and the spice level is perfect! Also, Tikka Chance on Me has always been my favourite dish… thank you so much for the great service and food! 🫶🏻“

“Ordered 11 toppings on our pizza tonight. Super delicious! Fast delivery, perfect temperature and friendly service. Thank you!“

“So good😁😁Garlic Parmesan breadsticks and Garlic Knots are a must!!!“
