“We visited Joey’s for the first time during our trip to Thunder Bay with my young son, and it was easily the highlight of our visit.

The gentleman who served us was exceptionally polite, friendly, and welcoming. He made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and his customer service was excellent.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the chips were delicious, and everything was served promptly. It was one of the best fish and chip meals I’ve had.

I only realised afterwards that they serve mushy peas as well, which I completely missed on the menu. I’ll definitely be ordering those the next time I visit!

Without a doubt, the best part of our trip to Thunder Bay was our meal at Joey’s. I would highly recommend it and will certainly be returning whenever I’m back in the area.“

Have your own dish or order a few dishes to share. Patio is a great option during warmer months with lots of sun umbrellas when needed and is good for a quieter space if needed since the restaurant can get loud when busy. Oh, and the white sangria is excellent.“

“It had been nearly 2 decades since I had visited Coney Island, in all that time the only thing that changed was the staff, and the shape of the coca cola cans. Literally exactly the same!!! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was awesome, much faster than any fast food restaurant in town. I had just sat down at the bar after ordering, my pop was already in my spot, I barely had time to open the can of pop when my coney dog appeared on a plate in front of me, immediately followed by the fries and gravy from the back kitchen!!! I mean, it's as close to a Nascar pitstop as one could hope for!!! Well done!!! :)“

“We visited Chinese Express in Thunder Bay today and had a really great experience. The service was impressively fast — our food was served in less than 5 minutes, and everything was freshly cooked and hot.

The food itself was delicious across the board. We ordered a family combo for 6, and there massive different kind of food served — we actually had enough leftovers to take home, which says a lot about the value.

The restaurant was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, which made the dining experience even better. The staff were very friendly, efficient, and attentive.

“Had a great experience Monday July 6. Our server was Paul. He went above and beyond for us. Food was just as good as I remember tony romas being, and I hope to see them open more locations. We had two kids meals, 3 appetizers, and a 3 bone beef ribs meal, came to $113. Incredible value considering the price of groceries these days, especially beef. He recommended the blue ridge sauce and it was fire. Greatly appreciate the hospitality. Will definitely stop in every time I’m in the Thunder Bay area.
