“I ordered the Everything noodle bowl and it was HUGE! Loads of meat and shrimp. The flavours were delicious. I took a star off because the spring rolls were rolled in rice paper and it made them difficult to eat and not as pleasing as regular spring rolls.“
“We are on a cross Canada journey and had a crazing for Chinese food. Coming from Calgary with a huge Chinese community and amazing food, it was nice to see a well rated Chinese food restaurant here in Thunderbay. We placed our order and drive in to town to pick it up (staying at a local camping ground d). Upon arriving, it was clear that It’s Ling Lee’s 50th anniversary! The restaurant is decorated and the lady at the till is happy and celebrating her 50 years (+8) at the restaurant. We were told that for the month of September (2023), you are provided ballots to enter into your choose of gift baskets. I paid for my takeout order and started to enter all the draws. After arriving home (well to our home on wheels), we dug into the 6 dishes that we ordered. All the food was hot, flavourful and packaged well for transport. Thanks Ling Lee for sharing your food, story and celebration with us on our Journey across Canada.Stop in and try the food. It won’t disappoint.PS: It’s nice to see Gingerbeef east of Calgary on a menu too!“
“This is the first place we hit up when we come back to Thuner Bay. Moved to Southern Minnesota 25 years ago and we can't wait to eat awesome Chinese food! The Chinese food in the U.S. is garbage! We were very sad to hear that the owners are not well and that is why they have cut hours. Too bad their kids didn't learn traditional cooking to keep an awesome restaurant going. Just hope they will still be around for our next visit?“
“Great food and exceptional cutomer service, food is amazing and they are quick to bring out your orders. Weekdays have great chinese food while on the weekends you can order from their dim-sum menu which is great to share with others! Amazing local store with great owners, be sure to pay this place a visit.“
“Still above-average food quality and service. The number of items in every combination meal set (as in group meal combo for three, for four, etc.) have noticeably been decreased by at least one item per order. Alhough, probably, there may have been a slight decrease in each portion/s (or maybe none at all), I guess there might have been only a small increase in their group meal prices. Insmuchas most of the area restaurants have tremendously increased their individual prices for such reasons like market instability, etc. their reduction in items offered was perhaps the better way to maintain food quality and integrity within reasonable means and pricing.“
“Always delicious, great staff. Love supporting local, family owned/run restaurants. You can really tell when people take pride in their work 11/10! (Pictured is Daily Chicken Ball & Shanghai Noodles). Only complaint is never enough leftoversMany comment on their odd hours (which happens, being a family restaurant), although not always ideal, they are consistently updating through their Facebook page :)Kid-friendliness: High chairs available“
“This is one of the places which I frequently visit whenever i go to ISC.The staff are nice, friendly and quick. The food in overall is acceptable however there are few items which can get better. First the of spring roll is very small and the fillings are not tasty enough.Second the beef and broccoli is mostly big broccolis with tiny slice of beef (delicious tho)Third the rice is not done well and could be better. However, their noodles and honey garlic chicken is super!Would order again.“
“I am never disappointed in my go to place! Chopsticks has been my favourite Chinese place since the first time I tried it. We went all out tonight, chicken fried rice, deep fried wontons, s&s chicken balls, chicken low mien, egg foo young, chop seuy, rice rolls and egg rolls! Totally worth every penny… food was very hot, fresh and visually appetizing.“
“Best Chinese in Thunder Bay!! The only Chinese restaurant open on a Wednesday in Fort William. Although there was a language barrier with the person who took my order over the phone; when I spoke face to face she didn't sound rude and we both understood each other. I forgot my sauces and she called me back and left a message which was understandable.Vegetarian options: Variety of food in a "bowl"Parking: Easy to find a close spot to the hidden entrance door. Wheelchair accessibility: The main site has a wheelchair accessible push button. The restaurant is fully accessible. “
