I've been going here since I was 18 (yes, underage). My first time I walked in was in 1992. I have always loved this place. I have been away for many years and decided to see it again in a rare and recent visit to Thunder Bay. They don't play any music, unless you feed the jukebox...and the music is too low. I also left a 166% tip because of the memories I was flooded with being there. The waitress didn't even thank me for that generous tip.
It's an alright bar along the highway. 🛣 😌
The atmosphere got its stars from the southern fried wings. They're so good, you know the atmophere is bone standard: every-towns-best-joint-modern, < inspired by the inside of an abandoned motel on the outskirts of a 400 person mining town. Thats how you identify the best place for wings in any town though.
