“TJ's is terrific! Their soft-serve ice cream is the best I've had in years. I used to live near The Beacon Drive-In in Victoria, BC—who claims to have top-tier soft-serve—but theirs isn't even in the same galaxy as TJ's.They're a little pricey, but their portions are huge (honestly, if they offered their kid's sizes in a half-size to what they currently offer, that'd be plenty).My only critique: make your root beer milkshakes with actual root beer (from a can or bottle) rather than from a syrup. If done right, I expect the soda will make the shake a bit fizzier and more fun.The staff are also some of the friendliest I've ever met (as it ought to be—ice cream is fun)!All in all, it's worth the drive, and the money. “What a gem! Absolutely loved my experience here! Lots of options for individuals with a variety of dietary needs. Signage is clear to help those make informed decisions (what is vegan, what contains nuts, dairy or gluten, etc). Lots of unique flavours, many of which appeared seasonal. I had the peach crumble and it was the best gelato I've had outside of Italy. Get the double scoop, you won't regret it.“
