“The lighting was very low, and it was difficult to read the menu. Possibly a few battery operated candles would have helped. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend El Tres. The dining room is beautifully decorated & the vibe is great!“

We just got 3 days of snow, so it's bad everywhere.“
“Thank you for recommending the Ham and Swiss! Toasted sandwich was great. I didn't expect the touch of sweetness but in the end I really liked it all together. Sides were great as well, the veggie chips were nice and light yet flavorful.“
“Delicious homemade Mexican food. I had the quesadilla, and corn salad. The salad was tasty, but a large portion for a side dish. The quesadilla was very flavourful and it came with a delicious salsa verde. The cocktails were nicely mixed. Desert was a perfectly spiced brownie, with hints of hot pepper and cinnamon. Topped with a lightly spiced whipped cream. Decadent and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.I will visit again next time I am in town.Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options (tostada, quesadilla, tortas, and tacos), as well as several side dishes.“
“For what it is, which is fast food tacos and other tex-mex fare, this place does a good job and has a lot of loyal customers.I like to stop by on Tuesdays for some $2 tacos and I also like to get the chips and queso blanco for a snack. The service is quick and friendly, and there is quite a bit of seating inside.“

“I have always had great service at this location. The last time I was there, I had a large order and was short on time. I told the person serving me I was in a rush and she quickly got everyone on board and had me out of there fast and the order was perfect.I was very happy, left a tip and was on my way.See you next time you ladies are awesome !!!“
“Okay, so first of all, LOVED the food. The manager is always active, making his staff aware of everything going on. In the 3 days I was in Thunderbay, I have had every meal here. I remember being well served by 2 waitresses, Corey and Sammy, both were very interactive. The manager suggested I stayed back for the band and they were amazing as well. All in all, my stay in Thunderbay would be really sad without this place. Thank you so much.“
