“I just wanted to take the tome to acknowledge the amazing efforts of Colin (who I've now known to be the GM of this location) . I had called with a question, simply asking what the daily vegetable was before I placed my order through Skip the Dish. I wanted to make sure the sode was not say roasted red pepper and beans or something. During our briefing talk, I explained I had a food allergy to peppers. He said he would make sure there were no peppers. Much to my delight, the food was absolutely amazing, and I had no issues with anything. What particularly caught me off guard, was that Colin had essentially taken time aside to ensure the safety of my meal, and inquired about all ingredients to the kitchen. He found that there were pepper flakes in the coleslaw side, so he actually attached a had written note with the coleslaw aside, amd substitutions available that accommodated my allergy. I have yet to ever see a restaurant worker take such initiative, let alone learning that this was the GM whom I'm sure had many other things to do that evening. I was absolutely blown away. So Colin, if you ever see this, you made my night, and you've solidified a loyal family of clients to Kelseys, solely because of you. Thank you“

“This place was it!!!!! Awesome vibes, food and drinks. Went here for my 30th birthday. The servers although busy, had time to chat with my partner and I. Would strongly recommend. The only complaint I would make is that it was noisy. We sat in the dining area which was a bit quieter, but overall it didn't ruin anything.“

“The The westfort is sadly a dying breed in this town, live music, cheap drinks and as you are atmosphere . There used to be dozens of such establishments here in thunder bay(dreaming of you inntowner) , now however if looking for a relaxed atmosphere a laid-back place to meet friends, dance to live tunes, make new friends and avoid PA this the place for you!“

“Working in Thunder Bay and stopped by for dinner. Great whisky selection including Powers. The owner Jarret was tending bar and provided great service along with a strong knowledge of Thunder bay history and local must see sites.

Highly recommend stopping by Madhouse if you are in town.“

“I cannot praise our waitress Maria at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar (Thunder Bay). Never have I ever had such a amazing waitress at the Keg such as her. She was super friendly, and outgoing and despite it being a Saturday night and them being busy she made sure everything was good and checked in on us frequently. My husband and I both agreed she was by far the BEST waitress we ever had there.“

Not many drink options available but still a pretty laid back spot.Shout out to local DJ who plays music and also has karaoke at this place. Makes the whole environment cozy, welcoming and fun. “Ordered poached eggs med-hard and got runny, ordered soft bacon and got crispy (near desiccated), paid for side fruit and got fruit nearing end of life (browning, soft). Service was ok … did not ask if everything was good. Just dropped the bill. When I mentioned the fruit was off, she said she would tell the cook but did not remove from bill or offer fresh. Used to love Tina’s. Fresh fruit and so tasty. Really gone downhill. I’ll give the restaurant a D- for food. Waitress was nice, just not willing to see customer satisfaction … I won’t be back.“
