“I just wanted to take the tome to acknowledge the amazing efforts of Colin (who I've now known to be the GM of this location) . I had called with a question, simply asking what the daily vegetable was before I placed my order through Skip the Dish. I wanted to make sure the sode was not say roasted red pepper and beans or something. During our briefing talk, I explained I had a food allergy to peppers. He said he would make sure there were no peppers. Much to my delight, the food was absolutely amazing, and I had no issues with anything. What particularly caught me off guard, was that Colin had essentially taken time aside to ensure the safety of my meal, and inquired about all ingredients to the kitchen. He found that there were pepper flakes in the coleslaw side, so he actually attached a had written note with the coleslaw aside, amd substitutions available that accommodated my allergy. I have yet to ever see a restaurant worker take such initiative, let alone learning that this was the GM whom I'm sure had many other things to do that evening. I was absolutely blown away. So Colin, if you ever see this, you made my night, and you've solidified a loyal family of clients to Kelseys, solely because of you. Thank you“

Medium rare . . . MOST importantly the price was FANTASTIC . . . $15.00 for massive, tasty burger, cooked the proper way, on a fresh sesame seed bun with AWESOME fries (or salad). . . . “I cannot praise our waitress Maria at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar (Thunder Bay). Never have I ever had such a amazing waitress at the Keg such as her. She was super friendly, and outgoing and despite it being a Saturday night and them being busy she made sure everything was good and checked in on us frequently. My husband and I both agreed she was by far the BEST waitress we ever had there.“

“The meal was plain jane, for the price i expected alittle more flare. The restaurant was empty which tells me a story in itself. The meal was skimpy, it was served on a large plate with the small steak which was chewy, a few carrots, and 2 roasted potatoes off to the side, which made the plate look empty. the soup (which was extra, and cost $5) was in the smallest bowl i have ever seen and only half full, the same with the creme boule. I must say though that the caesar salad was delicious, and the coffee was very good. It had been 10 yrs since my last visit because of poor food and i dont think i will try it again, in the near future.“
