Pleasantly surprised. Solid burger at a good price. The predetermined tipping options was a turn off. You just typed in the order, that doesn't warrant 15, 30, 45%

Appreciated the local product being sold, picked up some stuff for Xmas stockings.

Good experience overall do recommend. Best smashburger for the price.

Now that Daytonas is not what it was the Beef Cakes is my go to place for burgers

Food and service was great up until the manager had a hissy fit at the kitchen staff for making a minor/common mistake.

Nobody has the right to swear and scream at people, especially when they have a manager-employee power dynamic in their favour. Pick on someone your own size dude.

This place was recommended to me by a friend i have been there twice. First time, the experience was spectacular the lady that greeted us and at the front of the house was amazing, cheery and full of energy. The food was amazing and finger licking good. With every bite you could feel the freshness. I went there yesterday night with some of my friends, the service was not the best, I should also add I went just half an hour before closing which could be the reason why. As, it could have been a long day for the peeps there. We would ask questions like which sandwich is the best. And we got the response ,”all of them are the same.” The food was okay. But I’d still recommend this place and for sure wouldn’t judge by just a single bad experience. Love their food.

YMMV. I've had a good burger in the past but today was not one of those times. Patty was dry and overall not as much flavor as expected. Burgers also seemed tossed together so lost points for 'presentation'. And unfortunately we didn't get one order of fries and didn't realize until my wife asked if I ate hers. Disappointing really.

Best smashburger that exists. I've tried a lot and this is where I go back to.

One of the best places to go if you want a burger and an amazing poutine… Derek takes so much time and pride in Beefcakes and has such amazing staff… food coming out a little slow? Yah, that’s because it’s fresh and not frozen… because it’s busy as all heck because they’ll keep putting their best and juiciest meat in your mouth.. ;) ! There are so many options too! Gluten free? Burger bowl… vegetarian ? There are options for that! Just ask!

We love beefcakes and look forward to going often! Especially for a poutine; drool.. keep up the amazing work everyone !

Went in for a quick lunch with my kid. Nice atmosphere very friendly counter staff and cute items for sale.

I'm a vegetarian so I only had onion rings. These are the best I've had in town. Usually they're gross and soggy but these were crisp and nom.

My son loved his burger and it was an all around great first experience with you. Thanks : )

Made a pre-order today because I have a short lunch for work. I was super sad because after salivating from smelling it all the way back, I didnt realize my burger was wrong until I got back to my job site. I called just to let them know it happened and the super nice guy on the other end of the line insisted on putting a new one on the grill for me that was ready by the time I got back there. I wasn't expecting that at all, just was calling to let them know...and then when I left with my new burger !!?!?!! he gave me a gift certificate! I couldn't believe it!! The food was amazing and the fact that he replaced my burger no problem and without making me feel like a jerk for it earned my 5 stars in customer service, alone. Thank you again, kind sir.

Burgers and fries (and onion rings/braised beef poutine) are best in town bar none! Great food, very friendly service and locally owned! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Parking: Parking in back of Hodder and Beefcake’s, plenty of parking.
