The food is FANTASTIC!! Best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had- it’s real house made pastrami- not the pink shaved stuff from the butcher. And they have the best GF buns I’ve had at a restaurant! Highly recommend.

My now husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Bight. Not a single flaw.

Taylor DeLuca is like the built-in bestie that Bight gives you, and she is an absolute dream to have as the event coordinator. From the start she was kind, helpful, and so easy to work with. I always felt like she had my back, and when the wedding day came, she truly delivered. I was completely stress-free and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined.

From the atmosphere to the food and every detail in between, Taylor made sure everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. The food was absolutely top notch — our guests are still talking about it days later. Taylor even planned the most beautiful tasting, complete with décor and thoughtful touches. Not to mention that every other server, bartender and manager that stepped in was equally as incredible.

As a bride, all you want is for your vision to be executed perfectly, and Taylor did just that. For our reception decor, aside from the arch, I laid out and handed her the pieces that I had collected, prepped and organized, told her my vision and she made them look beautiful.

Bight was the perfect venue for our 81-person wedding. Everything we dreamed of happened and the incredible price-point was worth every penny. The experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend Bight and Taylor to anyone planning their big day!

Nice place in marina. Food is interesting/gourmet. We had a great appetizer and a pizza we didn't really like as much, but others might have loved. I would go again and choose different options.

Great lunch and service! Visited Thunder Bay last week and we sat the bar last Friday for lunch. The bartender was a wonderful server. It was the best service I have had a in LONG time and she was truly attentive and knowledgeable

Great service and food.

There were 6 of us. The children ages 11 and 8 had the burger with fries. The fries were old and overcooked. Kids ate them anyway but I should have sent them back. A restaurant of this caliper should be able to serve proper fries.(McDonald's makes better fries! ) The desserts were good except the rhubarb cake was dry. Again this was a disappointment since the other desserts were good. I have eaten at Bites several times before and was much more impressed by the quality of the food. The food was not up to the past standard. The selection was much more restricted then in past visits. Based on this visit I would not return.

I had my wedding ceremony at Mariner’s Hall in Bight Restaurant in July of 2025. Thank you, Bight, for being such a great wedding venue! Taylor, the event coordinator, was professional, friendly, and so helpful through the entire planning process- she was instrumental in making sure that the day went off without a hitch! Mariner’s Hall is a beautiful, bright, venue for a wedding ceremony, and it’s in a perfect location for photos. I highly recommend Bight for anyone getting married in Thunder Bay.

Pork belly hash was delicious here!! Also enjoyed the ceaser🍸which was presented beautifully with a pickle and a slice of bacon. Sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, waitress was super kind and outgoing.
