Great service and food.

There were 6 of us. The children ages 11 and 8 had the burger with fries. The fries were old and overcooked. Kids ate them anyway but I should have sent them back. A restaurant of this caliper should be able to serve proper fries.(McDonald's makes better fries! ) The desserts were good except the rhubarb cake was dry. Again this was a disappointment since the other desserts were good. I have eaten at Bites several times before and was much more impressed by the quality of the food. The food was not up to the past standard. The selection was much more restricted then in past visits. Based on this visit I would not return.

I had my wedding ceremony at Mariner’s Hall in Bight Restaurant in July of 2025. Thank you, Bight, for being such a great wedding venue! Taylor, the event coordinator, was professional, friendly, and so helpful through the entire planning process- she was instrumental in making sure that the day went off without a hitch! Mariner’s Hall is a beautiful, bright, venue for a wedding ceremony, and it’s in a perfect location for photos. I highly recommend Bight for anyone getting married in Thunder Bay.

Food was delicious but the wait was too long and prices too high for the sparse atmosphere with a bug problem.

Pork belly hash was delicious here!! Also enjoyed the ceaser🍸which was presented beautifully with a pickle and a slice of bacon. Sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, waitress was super kind and outgoing.

Love the ambience and location. Best waterfront patio in the city. Service was great each time I went there. Absolutely will be back when in town. The fries and gravy and poutine are soooooo good. Addicting.
I Always sit at the bar and the bartenders are so friendly with lots of recommendations.

Cute patio setup on the waterfront with heaters if you get chilly. Hunter’s service was great. The food definitely could have been better. The prosciutto was grey like it had been oxidized for a few days. The chicken on the Caesar salad was boiled. Felt like we were eating airport food but maybe we just made the wrong selections. Drinks were great!

Far too expensive and very poor quality of food!
We had dinner on the patio on Sunday July 20. Our server was excellent which is why I gave a 5 star for that. He was very friendly and attentive so no complaints there.
Two of the 3 dishes we ordered were awful.
Starter Prosciutto Pizza- the “prosciutto” wasn’t even close to being prosciutto! Something on that pizza was “off”! Both the cheese and the meat were definitely not fresh and possibly spoiled!

The Caesar salad was also one of the worst salads I’ve ever had. It consisted of the inside of a small romaine lettuce heart, cut in half and charred on top. Also thrown in the mix was more of the spoiled “prosciutto” with some grated cheese. Half of the romaine heart on the plate was core, so, it filled up the plate, but you couldn’t actually eat it. It was a terrible combination. But that wasn’t the worst part. We added the grilled chicken, (again not convinced it was actually a chicken breast), which seemed like it was processed and boiled then thrown on the grill to get the grill marks. No taste whatsoever. Couldn’t eat it!

The third dish, the Fritto Misto, was really good! That one made up for the other two major failures!

Far too expensive for what we got. 3 starters and one glass of wine and a martini was over $150. Huge fail. Don’t waste your time or money.

Beautiful patio at the Marina. Love the new menu items and summer cocktails. My girlfriend loved the Lavender & Lust & I really enjoyed the Tequila Mockingberry. The restaurant was busy but we never felt neglected.

Extremely slow service. Simple coffee order min 15 min, and our main dish over an hour.

We had lunch at Bight Restaurant & Bar and were pleasantly surprised by how good the burger was. The vibe felt a bit off, likely because we came during a slower time, but the service was excellent. Prices were on the higher side, but if you’re in the marina area, it’s still a solid spot to check out.
